​DEAD SEA, JORDAN, Tuesday, 7 March 2023 – A delegation from the Medical Services, Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) attended the 10^th International Conference of the Royal Medical Services and Jordan Health Exhibition (JOHEX) which was held from 7 March 2023 until 10 March 2023 at King Hussein bin Talal Convention Center in Dead Sea, Jordan. Present as the representative of Medical Services RBLF was Lieutenant Colonel (Dr) Ummi Suzeyanna binti Haji Johari, Acting Deputy Chief Medical Officer and Captain Afifah Hasanah binti Haji Ali Hassan, Administrative Officer of Medical Services RBLF.

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II was invited as the Guest of Honour at the conference with the theme “Global Challenges and Sustainable Development in Health". More than 8,000 experts from various medical and health backgrounds participated in the conference which featured 450 scientific lectures and sessions, including livestreamed surgeries. Concurrently, the JOHEX 2023 was inaugurated by His Royal Highness Crown Prince where latest medical equipment and technologies were on display. 

During the conference, the delegates were given the opportunity to visit King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center and to observe a demonstration on Mass Casualty Medical Evacuation caused by chemical threats.

The International Conference of the Royal Medical Services is held once every two years in Jordan with participation from military delegates and guest speakers of different specialties from all over the world. It is dedicated to gather medical and health experts from all around the world for the exchange of medical knowledge and expertise.

INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF THE ROYAL MEDICAL SERVICES KALI KE-10 DAN PAMERAN JORDAN HEALTH (JOHEX)

DEAD SEA, JORDAN, Selasa, 7 Mac 2023 – Delegasi dari Khidmat Perubatan dan Kesihatan, Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah menghadiri International Conference of the Royal Medical Services kali ke-10 dan Pameran Jordan Health (JOHEX) yang telah berlangsung pada 7 Mac 2023 hingga 10 Mac 2023 bertempat di King Hussein bin Talal Convention Center, Dead Sea, Jordan. Hadir di persidangan tersebut ialah Leftenan Kolonel Ummi Suzeyanna binti Haji Johari, Pemangku Timbalan Ketua Pegawai Perubatan dan Kapten Afifah Hasanah binti Haji Ali Hassan, Pegawai Pentadbir, Khidmat Perubatan dan Kesihatan TDDB.

Melalui persidangan ini, Putera Mahkota Jordan Al Hussein bin Abdullah II telah diundang sebagai Tetamu Kehormat di samping merasmikan pameran JOHEX 2023 yang mempamerkan kelengkapan dan teknologi perubatan yang terkini. Tema yang diketengahkan ialah "Global Challenges and Sustainable Development in Health" yang mana melibatkan lebih dari 8,000 orang dari pelbagai kelulusan perubatan dan kesihatan, serta adanya 450 sesi perubatan dan perkongsian, termasuk tayangan pembedahan secara siaran langsung telah diaturkan sepanjang persidang tersebut dijalankan.

Lawatan ke King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center turut diadakan dan demonstrasi Mass Casualty Medical Evacuation yang berpunca dari ancaman kimia juga diperlihatkan semasa persidangan dan JOHEX.

International Conference of the Royal Medical Services merupakan persidangan antarabangsa yang dikendalikan oleh Royal Medical Services Jordan setiap dua tahun. Ia bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan pakar perubatan dan kesihatan bagi pengkongsian ilmu dan kepakaran perubatan.
