156 RBLF PERSONNEL RECEIVED LONG SERVICE AND GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL (MILITARY) | PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 23 May 2025 – With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, a total of 156 Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) personnel, consisting both in-service and retired personnel, were conferred with the Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (Military). In attendance to present the medal was Yang Mulia Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, held at the Nikmat Hall, Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Penanjong Garrison.

15th ADMM-PLUS EXPERTS’ WORKING GROUP ON HUMANITARIAN MINE ACTION | MOSCOW, RUSSIAN FEDERATION, Thursday, 22 May 2025 – The 15th ASEAN Defence Ministers' Meeting-Plus (ADMM-Plus) Experts' Working Group on Humanitarian Mine Action (EWG on HMA) was held at the Patriot Expo in Moscow, Russian Federation from 21st May 2025 to 24th May 2025. Representing the Ministry of Defence of Brunei Darussalam as the Head of Delegation was Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ghazali bin Hussin, Commanding Officer Engineer Regiment, Royal Brunei Land Forces. Also present was Abdul Azim bin Haji Abd Kassim, Research Officer, Directorate of Defence Policy.

BASIC COMMUNICATION INFORMATION SYSTEM COURSE COMPLETED | PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 16th May 2025 – The Basic Communication Information System course has successfully concluded with a closing event held at the School of Infantry, Royal Brunei Land Forces (SOI RBLF), Penanjong Garrison. The 10-week course was conducted from 10th March 2025 to 16th May 2025 with the participation of 27 personnel from the RBLF, Royal Brunei Air Force and Joint Force Headquarters Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF). In attendance to officiate the closing was Lieutenant Colonel Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Commanding Officer of SOI.

ACTING COMMANDER RBLF ATTENDED THE LAND FORCES OF THE PACIFIC SYMPOSIUM AND EXPOSITION 2025 | HONOLULU, Thursday, 15 May 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) delegation led by Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, the Acting Commander of RBLF had attended the 12th Land Forces Pacific (LANPAC) Symposium and Exposition in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States of America. The event was held from 13th to 15th May 2025, which involved the participation of more than 33 countries organised by The Association of the United States Army (AUSA). This year's theme entitled “Prevailing Through Landpower" highlights the critical role of land forces in the Indo-Pacific region, particularly emphasising the Army's focus on deterrence through readiness and partnerships in preserving peace, stability and security.

SESSION WITH PARTICIPANTS OF ADVANCED INFANTRY COURSE | LUMUT CAMP, Tuesday, 13th May 2025 – Lieutenant Colonel Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Commanding Officer of the School of Infantry, Royal Brunei Land Forces (SOI RBLF), had a session with participants of the Advanced Infantry Course Series 7/2025 held at Ad-Din Hall, Third Battalion RBLF, Lumut Camp. A total of 103 course participants from male recruits of Intake 176 had attended the session.
