| XSW 08/2026 HEARTS AND MINDS PROJECT | KAMPONG LUAGAN DUDOK, TUTONG, Tuesday, 27 January 2026 – As part of the 'Hearts and Minds' activity under Exercise SEMANGAT WAJA (XSW) 08/2026, the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) held a handover ceremony of a wooden bridge project, which took place at Jalan Sebatang Sentol, Kampong Luagan Dudok, Tutong. The ceremony was officiated by Colonel Mohammad Fakarudin Zuraidie bin Haji Ramli, Field Commander of RBLF. Also in attendance were Awangku Arif Anuar bin Pengiran Haji Ahmad, Acting Tutong District Officer, the Penghulu of Mukim Keriam, the Village Head of Kampong Luagan Dudok, a representative from the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the Commanding Officer of the Second Battalion (2Bn) RBLF.

| DRILL SERGEANT MAJOR INSIGNIA PRESENTATION AND FIELD PROMOTION CEREMONY | TUTONG, Monday, 26th January 2026 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) held the Drill Sergeant Major insignia presentation and field promotion ceremony for RBLF Warrant Officers (WOs) and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) at Sungai Basong, Tutong today in conjunction with Exercise SEMANGAT WAJA 08/2026. One personnel from the Third Battalion RBLF received the Drill Sergeant Major insignia, while a total of 18 WOs and 33 SNCOs from various RBLF sub-units were promoted during the event. In attendance to officiate the event was Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Commander of the RBLF.

| RBLF WON THE RBAF SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP 2026 | RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 23rd January 2026 – The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Swimming and Water Polo Championship 2026 was held at the Sports Complex in Rimba Air Force Base from 20th to 23rd January 2026. The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) emerged as champion in the Swimming Championship, securing five gold medals, four silver, and two bronze medals.

| ARF TRAINING ON DEVELOPING EXERCISES TO COUNTER WMD TERRORISM | MANILA, REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES, Thursday, 22nd January 2026 — Captain Delson bin Jumat, Training Officer of School of Engineers, Engineer Regiment, Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), has attended the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) Training on Developing Exercises to Counter Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) Terrorism, held from 20th to 22nd January 2026 in Manila, Republic of the Philippines.

| PRESENTATION OF ELECTRIC WHEELCHAIR | KAMPONG KIUDANG, TUTONG, Thursday, 22nd January 2026 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) presented an electric wheelchair to a former RBLF personnel In conjunction with Exercise SEMANGAT WAJA (XSW) 08/2026. Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, the Deputy Commander of the RBLF, presented the wheelchair to 4872 First Warrant Officer (Retired) Rosli bin Seruji, at his residence in Kampong Kiudang, Tutong District. Also in attendance was Colonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, RBLF Chief of Staff, who is also the XSW 08/2026 Director and representatives from the Veterans Association of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (PERWIRA).
