BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 26th June 2025 – In conjunction with the New Year of 1447 Hijrah, Brunei Darussalam celebrated the Ilal Hijrah at all mosques, suraus and religious halls nationwide. The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) held the event simultaneously at all RBLF Suraus including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque with the focal event held at Surau Al-Fa'izun, Berakas Garrison.

PENANJONG GARRISONThursday, 26th June 2025 – Closing ceremony for the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Explosive (CBRE) Pioneer Course 2025 was recently held at the Engineer Regiment Headquarters, Royal Brunei Land Forces (Engr Regt RBLF), Penanjong Garrison. A total of 10 participants have successfully completed the course which was conducted by the Specialist Engineer Wing, School of Engineer (SOE) Engr Regt RBLF from 7th April 2025 to 26th June 2025.

BANGAR CAMP, Wednesday, 18 June 2025 – 'E' Company First Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces ('E' Company 1Bn RBLF) received an educational visit from Library Club, IBTE Nakhoda Ragam Campus with a group of 35 students accompanied by 10 teachers at Bangar Camp. The students were welcomed by Captain Mohd Rahimin bin Haji Ahmad, Officer Commanding, 'E' Company 1Bn RBLF.

JAKARTA, Saturday, 14th June 2025 – Lieutenant Colonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, Chief of Staff of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), attended the 10th Indo Defence 2025 Expo and Forum hosted by the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Indonesia. The event was held from 11 to 14 June 2025 at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran, Jakarta, under the theme “Defence Partnerships for Global Peace and Stability."

BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 13th June 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) held Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony in conjunction with the RBLF 63rd Anniversary. In attendance at Surau Al-Fa'izun, Berakas Garrison was Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Acting Commander RBLF and were joined by Senior officers, Officers and RBLF personnel. Similar event was also held simultaneously at all RBLF suraus including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque attended by respective officers and personnel, while the RBLF Field Headquarters and School of Infantry at Surau Al-Hikmah, Penanjong Garrison.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 13th June 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) proudly marked the successful conclusion of its Intermediate Officer Tactics Course (IOTC) with a closing event held at the Officers' Mess Berakas Garrison. In attendance to officiate the closing was Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Acting Commander of RBLF. A total of thirty-six officers consisting of sixteen from the RBLF, one from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), three from the Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF), one from the Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) RBAF and fifteen from the Ministry of Defence, had successfully completed the course which started from 14 April to 6 June 2025.

BERKELEY, CALIFORNIA, Tuesday, 03rd June 2025 — Lieutenant Dr Wan Nurul Naszeerah binti Mohammed Zainal Abidin Ariff of the Medical Services, Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), has recently completed a four-year Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) programme at the University of California, Berkeley School of Public Health, United States of America. The academic hood was formally conferred during the university's official hooding ceremony by Professor Layla Kwong, Chair of her dissertation committee.

PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 23 May 2025 – With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, a total of 156 Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) personnel, consisting both in-service and retired personnel, were conferred with the Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (Military). In attendance to present the medal was Yang Mulia Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, held at the Nikmat Hall, Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Penanjong Garrison.

MOSCOW, RUSSIAN FEDERATION, Thursday, 22 May 2025 – The 15th ASEAN Defence Ministers' Meeting-Plus (ADMM-Plus) Experts' Working Group on Humanitarian Mine Action (EWG on HMA) was held at the Patriot Expo in Moscow, Russian Federation from 21st May 2025 to 24th May 2025. Representing the Ministry of Defence of Brunei Darussalam as the Head of Delegation was Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ghazali bin Hussin, Commanding Officer Engineer Regiment, Royal Brunei Land Forces. Also present was Abdul Azim bin Haji Abd Kassim, Research Officer, Directorate of Defence Policy.

PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 16th May 2025 – The Basic Communication Information System course has successfully concluded with a closing event held at the School of Infantry, Royal Brunei Land Forces (SOI RBLF), Penanjong Garrison. The 10-week course was conducted from 10th March 2025 to 16th May 2025 with the participation of 27 personnel from the RBLF, Royal Brunei Air Force and Joint Force Headquarters Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF). HONOLULU, Thursday, 15 May 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) delegation led by Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, the Acting Commander of RBLF had attended the 12th Land Forces Pacific (LANPAC) Symposium and Exposition in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States of America. The event was held from 13th to 15th May 2025, which involved the participation of more than 33 countries organised by The Association of the United States Army (AUSA)This year's theme entitled “Prevailing Through Landpower" highlights the critical role of land forces in the Indo-Pacific region, particularly emphasising the Army's focus on deterrence through readiness and partnerships in preserving peace, stability and security.

LUMUT CAMP, Tuesday, 13th May 2025  Lieutenant Colonel Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Commanding Officer of the School of Infantry, Royal Brunei Land Forces (SOI RBLF), had a session with participants of the Advanced Infantry Course Series 7/2025 held at Ad-Din Hall, Third Battalion RBLF, Lumut Camp. A total of 103 course participants from male recruits of Intake 176 had attended the session.

PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 09th May 2025 –  The Advanced Clerk Course has successfully concluded with a closing event held at the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) Field Company Headquarters, Penanjong Garrison. The four-week course was held from 14th April 2025 to 9th May 2025 with the participation of 27 personnel from the Ministry of Defence, RBLF and Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), honing their abilities in record-keeping, administrative procedures, and other office management functions. Officiating the closing was Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Hamerolazmi bin Haji Abdul Latip, Assistant Chief of Staff Personnel and Administration, RBLF Headquarters.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 9 May 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) Football and Tug of War Championship 2025 were held simultaneously at the Mini Stadium, Berakas Garrison. The activities, which ran from 28 April to 9 May 2025 featured six teams namely the First Battalion, Second Battalion, Third Battalion, Combat Service Support (CSS), Combined Team 1 consisting of the RBLF Headquarters, Medical Services, Dental Services and Royal Guards Regiment, and Combined Team 2 comprising of Field Headquarters, Engineer Regiment, Armour Recce Regiment and Combat Boat Squadron. In attendance to present the trophies and prizes was Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Acting Commander RBLF.

BANGAR, Saturday, 3rd May 2025 – The Echo Company, First Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces ('E' Coy 1Bn RBLF) participated in a charity walkathon organised by the Temburong District Office as part of the 'Ke Temburong Bisai' Programme to raise funds for the Temburong Orphans Fund while promoting a healthy lifestyle. The event began and ended at Sultan Hassan Primary School in Bangar and among those joining were Yang Berhormat Haji Awang Sulaiman bin Haji Nasir, Member of the Legislative Council, Yang Mulia Awang Hassan Baha bin Haji Umar, Acting Temburong District Officer, as well as residents in Temburong District. The RBLF's participation demonstrates its commitment to social responsibility and its willingness to support those in need, and further foster positive relationships between the RBLF and the community.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Wednesday, 30th April 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) held a blood donation drive on a separate occasion in conjunction with its  63rd Anniversary. This initiative was held in collaboration with the Blood Donation Centre, Department of Laboratory Services at Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital, under the Ministry of Health (MOH), which aimed to support the National Blood Bank. A total of 324 personnel from various RBLF units had participated in the donation. The drive underscores the importance of collective effort in meeting the nation's healthcare needs and fostering social responsibility. This initiative also reflects RBLF's dedication to community welfare and strengthening unity within the nation.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Monday, 28th April 2025 – A total of 237 Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) personnel were promoted in an event held at several RBLF units. Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, the Acting Commander of the RBLF, presented the rank insignias at the Warrant Officers, Staff Sergeants, and Sergeants Mess in Berakas Garrison.
