BERAKAS GARRISON, Khamis, 26th February 2026 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) organised its first Khatam Al-Quran ceremonies in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan 1447 Hijrah. The ceremonies were held simultaneously at all RBLF suraus, including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque, with the main event at Surau Al-Fa'izun, Berakas Garrison. Present were Colonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, Chief of Staff, RBLF, and senior officers, officers, and RBLF personnel.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 26th February 2026 – In collaboration with the Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE), 10 personnel from the Engineer Regiment Royal Brunei Land Forces (Engr Regt RBLF) have completed the Builder Foundation Course, held from 8th September 2025 to 11th December 2025. In attendance to present the certificates were Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Commander of the RBLF and Dr Haji Mohd Zamri bin Haji Sabli, Director of Technical Education and Chief Executive Officer of IBTE, which took place at Dewan Pahlawan, Berakas Garrison.

The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) also held similar event simultaneously at all RBLF Suraus including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque with the focal ceremony at Surau Al-Fa'izun, Berakas Garrison.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Sunday, 22nd February 2026 – In enlivening the blessed month of Ramadhan 1447 Hijrah, the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) Wives' Welfare Body (BAKTI) held the opening of Tadarus Al-Quran at Surau Al-Fa'izun, Berakas Garrison. Present at the event was Pengiran Noor Hafidzah binti Pengiran Haji Ahmad, spouse of the RBLF Commander, who is also the Head of RBLF BAKTI. Also in attendance were members of RBLF BAKTI.

PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 20th February 2026 – The Handover Ceremony for the Field Headquarters Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) Building Renovation Project was held between the Directorate of Development and Works Services (DDWS) Ministry of Defence and the RBLF Field Headquarters in Penanjong Garrison. Present at the handover event were Sr. Hajah Wan Farhani binti Haji Suhaili, Acting Director of DDWS and Colonel Mohammad Fakaruddin Zuraidie bin Haji Ramli, the RBLF Field Commander.

The promoted personnel included the RBLF Headquarters (HQ), RBLF HQ Company, Field HQ, Combat Service Support, Medical Services, Combat Boat Squadron, and Armour Recce Squadron.

PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 06th February 2026 – A total of 14 personnel from the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) and Brunei Engineering, Logistics and Training Solutions (BELTS) completed the Lightweight Tactical-All Terrain Vehicle (LT-ATV) Operator Training Course, from 27th January to 30th January 2026 and a total of 15 participants completed the LT-ATV Maintainer Training Course, from 02nd February to 05th February 2026. The closing ceremony for both courses was held at the Penanjong Workshop in Penanjong Garrison. Officiating the closing was Lieutenant Colonel Haji Mushiri Zulhibri bin Haji Awang, Head of the Force Capability Development RBLF Headquarters.

One personnel from the Third Battalion RBLF received the Drill Sergeant Major insignia, while a total of 18 WOs and 33 SNCOs from various RBLF sub-units were promoted during the event. RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 23rd January 2026 – The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Swimming and Water Polo Championship 2026 was held at the Sports Complex in Rimba Air Force Base from 20th to 23rd January 2026. The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) emerged as champion in the Swimming Championship, securing five gold medals, four silver, and two bronze medals.
