JAKARTA, Tuesday9th December 2025 – Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ghazali bin Haji Hussin, Commanding Officer of the Engineer Regiment Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), represented Brunei Darussalam at the Regional High-Level Dialogue on Enhancing Regional Cooperation and Resource Mobilisation in Mine/Explosive Remnants of War Action, in Jakarta, Republic of Indonesia. The event was organised by the ASEAN Regional Mine Action Centre (ARMAC) with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Monday, 8th December 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) presented the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Welfare Fund vouchers to RBLF orphans and selected RBLF personnel in conjunction with the upcoming 2026 school year. A total of 45 orphans from 27 families from the RBLF units, including RBLF Headquarters, Field Headquarters, Combat Service Support and Dental Services, received the vouchers. In addition, 319 selected RBLF personnel will also receive assistance through the RBAF Welfare Fund initiative.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Saturday, 6th December 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) emerged as the overall champion in the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Inter-Services Golf Tournament 2025 in conjunction with the RBAF 64th Anniversary. The tournament was held at the RBAF Golf Club, Berakas Garrison from 5th to 6th December 2025. Also participating in the tournament were the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), and the combined Ministry of Defence team made up of officers and personnel from the Ministry of Defence, Joint Force Headquarters RBAF, Defence Academy RBAF and the Training Institute RBAF.

UNITED KINGDOM, Friday, 05th December 2025 – Lieutenant Abdul Mu'az bin Haji Zaidin from the Royal Guards Regiment, Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), and Corporal Mohammed Mahdi bin Haji Majdi from the Ammunition Group, Logistics Depot, Combat Service Support, RBLF, had successfully completed the International Ammunition Technician Course (IATC), conducted from 05th July 2025 until 05th December 2025 in Oxfordshire, United Kingdom. The closing event was held at the Comera-Ordnance Munition Explosives (OME) Room, Heyford Park Innovation Centre, attended by Commander Ali Mustafa bin Haji Umar, RBN, Defence Adviser of Brunei Darussalam to the United Kingdom, along with Mr. Will Cogley, Managing Director of Comera Group, and instructors from Comera-OME.

TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 5th December 2025 – A total of 24 Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) officers have successfully completed the Junior Officers Development Course (JODC) 02/2025, with a closing event held at the Auditorium, Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF). The six-week programme, conducted from 27th October to 5th December 2025, was participated by 44 officers from across the RBAF unit, including 11 from the Royal Brunei Navy and nine from the Royal Brunei Air Force.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 05th December 2025 – The Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) held a Regimental Dinner Night in conjunction with the 64th anniversary of the RBLF at the Warrant Officers, Staff Sergeants and Sergeants' Mess, Berakas Garrison. In attendance were First Warrant Officer Mohammad Haswandi bin Haji Paun, Land Force Sergeant Major (LFSM), and SNCOs from all RBLF sub-units.

TUTONG CAMP, Friday, 5th December 2025 – A total of 162 Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) personnel from the 177th recruit intake have completed the Advanced Infantry Course, with a closing event held at Ar-Rizqi Hall, Second Battalion, Royal Brunei Land Forces (2Bn RBLF) in Tutong Camp. In attendance to officiate the closing was Lieutenant Colonel Haji Mohammed Airul Wizam bin Haji Ahmad, Acting Field Commander of the RBLF, along with Commanding Officers and Acting Commanding Officers, Regimental Sergeant Majors, and course instructors.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Thursday, 4th December 2025 –The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) officers participated in the 21st ASEAN Defence Ministers' Meeting Plus Experts' Working Group on Peacekeeping Operations (ADMM-Plus EWG on PKO) held at the Rizqun International Hotel, Gadong. The meeting was co-chaired by Lieutenant Colonel Pengiran Aeddie Masjaffrie bin Pengiran Haji Md Ja'afar, representing Brunei Darussalam, and Senior Colonel Man Guangzhi, representing the People's Republic of China.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Thursday, 4th December 2025  In conjunction with the 64th Anniversary of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) and the 2nd Anniversary of the Field Headquarters RBLF, the sub-units of Field Headquarters held cleaning campaign simultaneously at several Muslim cemeteries, which include the Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Muslim CemeterySeri Pimping Muslim Cemetery, Datu Umpong Muslim Cemetery, Kampong Batong Muslim Cemetery, Bukit Berangan Muslim CemeteryKampong Lumapas Muslim Cemetery, Sengkarai Muslim Cemetery, and An-Naem Muslim Cemetery in Anduki.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Wednesday, 3rd December 2025 – The Exercise Planning Conference (EPC) for Exercise MAJU BERSAMA (XMB) 28/2025 between the First Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (1Bn RBLF) and the First Battalion Singapore Infantry Regiment (1SIR) was successfully conducted at the Officers' Mess, Berakas Garrison. The EPC was co-chaired by Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ghazali bin Haji Hussin, Acting Field Chief of Staff, RBLF, and Lieutenant Colonel Ng Han Siong Derrick, Brigade Operation Officer 1SIR. Meanwhile, the EPC for Exercise RINTIS BERSAMA (XRB) 25/2025 was held on a separate occasion at the Engineer Regiment (Engr Regt) Headquarters in Penanjong Garrison, led by Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ghazali, who is also the Commanding Officer of the RBLF Engr Regt, and Major William Kuek Wei Liang, Staff Officer Operations (S3), 38th Singapore Combat Engineers (38 SCE).

BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 28th November 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) Junior Non-Commissioned Officers (JNCOs) Leadership Course series 3/2025 concluded with a closing event held at Dewan Pahlawan, Berakas Garrison. The course, conducted from 31st October to 28th November 2025, involved the participation of 120 personnel from various RBLF sub-units.

PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 27th November 2025 – The 2IC Section Commander Course 2025 has concluded with a closing event held at the School of Infantry Royal Brunei Land Forces (SOI RBLF) in Penanjong Garrison. The course was conducted from 15th September 2025 until 28th November 2025, spanning 11 weeks, with a total of 46 participants from various RBLF sub-units. Present to officiate the closing was Major Pengiran Haji Mohammad Razif bin Pengiran Haji Idros, Acting Commanding Officer SOI RBLF.

THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Thursday, 27th November 2025 – The 33rd ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) concluded in a closing ceremony held at the SAFTI Military Institute, Republic of Singapore. Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), attended the event along with the other ASEAN Chiefs of Army.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 27th November 2025 – The closing ceremony for the All Arms Staff and Tactics Course (AASTC) 2025 took place at the Officers' Mess, Berakas Garrison. A total of 24 officers, including three international officers from the Malaysian Army, the Philippine Army and the Singapore Army, had successfully completed the eight-week course held from 6th October until 28th  November 2025 at the School of Infantry (SOI), Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) in Penanjong Garrison. Present to officiate the closing was Colonel Mohammad Fakaruddin Zuraidie bin Haji Ramli, Field Commander of the RBLF. Also in attendance were the Chief of Staff RBLF, Defence Adviser of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam, the Defence Attaché of the Republic of the Philippines, the Assistant Defence Adviser of the Republic of Singapore, as well as RBAF Senior Officers and Officers.

PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 27th November 2025 – The Basic Fire Course for Trainee Squad Series 24/2025 has concluded with a closing event held at the Penanjong Garrison Fire Station. The 3-months course, conducted from 25th August to 27th November 2025, was facilitated by the Fire and Safety Services Headquarters, Combat Service Support, Royal Brunei Land Forces (CSS RBLF), involving a total of 14 personnel from the Fire and Safety Unit, CSS RBLF. The closing was officiated by Major Muhd Shahrimmy bin Karim, Commanding Officer of the Logistics Depot, CSS RBLF.

PENANJONG GARRISON, Wednesday, 26 November 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) has concluded the Command Post Exercise (CPX) for Exercise SEMANGAT WAJA 08/2026 held at the Signal Training Wings, School of Infantry RBLF in Penanjong Garrison. The three-day exercise, which runs from 24th to 26th November 2025, involved the participation of all RBLF sub-units. Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Commander RBLF, has also conducted working visits during the exercise, where he received several operational briefings presented by respective sub-units.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Saturday, 22nd November 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) held an Officers' Regimental Dinner in conjunction with its 64th Anniversary at the Officers' Mess, Berakas Garrison. Present as the Guest of Honour was Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Commander of the RBLF, accompanied by his spouse. Also in attendance were the RBLF's Board of Executives, Senior Officers and officers with their respective spouses.  Officers who retired this year were also extended the invitation to partake in the dinner as an appreciation for their services.

REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Friday, 21 November 2025 – The 33rd ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) 2025 has officially commenced in a ceremony held at the Nee Soon Range, Republic of Singapore. Officiating the ceremony was Brigadier General Wong Shi Ming, Chief of Staff - General Staff of the Singapore Army, and it was attended by Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Deputy Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), along with other ASEAN Deputy Chiefs of Army and representatives.

PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 20th November 2025 – The closing event for the Engineer Troop Commander Course, Engineer Section Commander Course and Basic Engineer Course took place at the Headquarters of the First Squadron (Field Engineer), Engineer Regiment, Royal Brunei Land Forces (1Sqn (Field Egr) Engr Regt RBLF). The Engineer Troop Commander Course ran concurrently with the Basic Engineer Course for thirty-one weeks from 14th April 2025 until 18th November 2025, while the Engineer Section Commander Course was conducted over nine weeks from 15th September 2025 until 18th November 2025. In attendance to officiate the closing was Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ghazali bin Haji Hussin, Engr Regt Commanding Officer.
