PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 2 January 2026 – A total of 16 personnel from the First Battalion, Second Battalion and Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) had successfully completed the Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) Troop Sergeant Course in a closing event held at the Armoured Reconnaissance Squadron (ARS RBLF) Auditorium, Penanjong Garrison. The course was conducted from 17th November 2025 to 2nd January 2026.

PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 2nd January 2026 – The Second Squadron, (Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Explosive), Engineer Regiment, Royal Brunei Land Forces (2Sqn CBRE Engr Regt RBLF) held a closing ceremony for the 9th Intake of the CBRE selection at the First Squadron (Field), Engr Regt RBLF Headquarters in Penanjong Garrison. The selection was conducted over a period of five (05) weeks, from 1st December 2025 until 2nd January 2026. In attendance to officiate the closing was Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ghazali bin Haji Hussin, Engr Regt Commanding Officer.

BRUNEI DARUSSALAM, Wednesday, 31 December 2025 – Loan Service Medical Officers from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, serving with the Medical Services of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), conducted a series of working visits to government hospitals across all four districts of Negara Brunei Darussalam during the period from November 2025 to December 2025. The working visits covered Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital, Bandar Seri Begawan; Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Hospital, Tutong; Suri Seri Begawan Hospital, Kuala Belait; and Pengiran Isteri Hajjah Mariam (PIHM) Hospital, Bangar.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Wednesday, 31 December 2025 – The Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, held a session with two officers and 12 other ranks from the RBLF who had successfully completed their peacekeeping mission with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) under the Malaysian Battalion 850-12 (MALBATT 850-12).

BELAIT, Saturday, 27th December 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) partook in the Belait District Cleanliness Campaign 2025, which was organised through the collaboration of Calibration Centre, Ministry of Defence (MINDEF); Defence Information Technology Unit, MINDEF; and Third Battalion, RBLF. The campaign was conducted under the concept “Promoting shared responsibility and the spirit of gotong-royong as a symbol of community unity, particularly in the Belait District" and themed “Caring Community, Preserved Nature." The campaign launch at Taman Jubli Perak, Kuala Belait was officiated by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Minister of Defence II.

BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday, 26th December 2025 – A Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony was held at Surau Ad-Difa', Bolkiah Garrison, to commemorate the safe return of a total of 29 personnel of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), who had successfully completed their deployment with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) under the Malaysian Battalion (MALBATT) 850-12. The RBAF contingent, comprising three officers and 26 other ranks - including 15 personnel from the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), was led by Major Pengiran Muhammad Syahir Fadillah bin Pengiran Salleh from the RBLF. The contingent completed a one-year peacekeeping deployment and returned safely to Brunei Darussalam on 5th  December 2025, demonstrating the RBAF's leadership role and strong commitment in international peacekeeping operations.

SUNGAI AKAR CAMP, Wednesday, 24 December 2025 – A total of 88 personnel from the Royal Guards Regiment, Royal Brunei Land Forces (RGdR RBLF) successfully completed the Basic Combat Self-Defence (BDT) Course, which was conducted from 10th December to 24th December 2025. The closing ceremony of the course was held at the Parade Square of the RGdR RBLF, Sungai Akar Camp.

LUMUT CAMP, Thursday, 18 December 2025 – The Closing Event of the Leadership and Management Course for Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCO) Series 1/2025 of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) was held at the Pipeband Auditorium, Third Battalion (3Bn) RBLF. The event was attended by Colonel Mohammad Fakaruddin Zuraidie bin Haji Ramli, Field Commander of the RBLF. Also present were Lieutenant Colonel Mohamad Safizan bin Ahmad, Chief Instructor of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Training Institute, Major Khairu Faizin bin Haji Abdul Gapar, Commanding Officer of 3Bn RBLF as the Patron Officer of the course, along with invited Officers and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers from various RBLF units. The six-week course was conducted from 10th November 2025 to 19th December 2025.

LUMUT CAMP, Tuesday, 16th December 2025 – The Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (3Bn RBLF) held a coordination meeting with the Belait District stakeholders in preparation for the upcoming cleaning campaign activity across the Belait District. Among those present were Major Khairul Faizin bin Haji Abdul Gapar, Commanding Officer of 3Bn RBLF, Awang Mohammad Faiq bin Haji Rani, Assistant District Officer Belait, the Belait District village heads, representatives from local companies, as well as officers and personnel of 3Bn RBLF, which took place at the Officers' Mess, Lumut Camp.

LUMUT CAMP, Monday, 15th December 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) Sergeant Major, First Warrant Officer Mohammad Haswandi bin Haji Paun, attended a Leadership Forum with participants of the Senior Non-Commissioned Officers Leadership Course held at the Pipe and Band Platoon Auditorium, Third Battalion (3Bn) RBLF, Lumut Camp. This forum is the first implementation undertaken by course participants as a platform for direct interaction with RBLF Sergeant Major through an open discussion and sharing of views. Also in attendance were First Warrant Officer Haji Hashim bin Haji Awang Besar, Regimental Sergeant Major of the 3Bn RBLF, and First Warrant Officer Mohammad Rizan bin Haji Awang Ramli, Chief Instructor of the Evolution Centre, Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces​.

LUMUT CAMP, Friday, 12th December 2025 – The Regimental Dinner for the Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) Leadership Course was held at the Warrant Officers, Staff Sergeants and Sergeants' Mess, Third Battalion (3Bn) RBLF in Lumut Camp. The six-week course commenced on 10th November 2025 and is scheduled to conclude on 19th December 2025, involving a total of 80 course participants from various RBLF sub-units.

HOUAPHANH PROVINCE, LAO PDRFriday, 12th December 2025 – Major Muhamad Syuaib bin Haji Meraj, Officer Commanding, First Squadron Field, Engineer Regiment, Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), represented the Ministry of Defence, Brunei Darussalam, at the 16th ASEAN Defence Ministers' Meeting-Plus (ADMM-Plus) Experts' Working Group on Humanitarian Mine Action (EWG on HMA) held from 9th to 12th December 2025 at Xanglot Cave, Viengxay District, Houaphanh Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic (Lao PDR). The meeting, hosted by Lao PDR and co-chaired with the Russian Federation for the 2024–2027 cycle, brought together ADMM-Plus member states to advance cooperation, strengthen regional preparedness, and enhance collective expertise in HMA.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Wednesday 10th December 2025 – A total of six personnel from the Dental Services Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) successfully completed the Dental Supervisor course, with a closing ceremony held at the Dental Services Headquarters, Berakas Garrison. JAKARTA, Tuesday9th December 2025 – Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ghazali bin Haji Hussin, Commanding Officer of the Engineer Regiment Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), represented Brunei Darussalam at the Regional High-Level Dialogue on Enhancing Regional Cooperation and Resource Mobilisation in Mine/Explosive Remnants of War Action, in Jakarta, Republic of Indonesia. The event was organised by the ASEAN Regional Mine Action Centre (ARMAC) with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Monday, 8th December 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) presented the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Welfare Fund vouchers to RBLF orphans and selected RBLF personnel in conjunction with the upcoming 2026 school year. A total of 45 orphans from 27 families from the RBLF units, including RBLF Headquarters, Field Headquarters, Combat Service Support and Dental Services, received the vouchers. In addition, 319 selected RBLF personnel will also receive assistance through the RBAF Welfare Fund initiative.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Saturday, 6th December 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) emerged as the overall champion in the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Inter-Services Golf Tournament 2025 in conjunction with the RBAF 64th Anniversary. The tournament was held at the RBAF Golf Club, Berakas Garrison from 5th to 6th December 2025. Also participating in the tournament were the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), and the combined Ministry of Defence team made up of officers and personnel from the Ministry of Defence, Joint Force Headquarters RBAF, Defence Academy RBAF and the Training Institute RBAF.

UNITED KINGDOM, Friday, 05th December 2025 – Lieutenant Abdul Mu'az bin Haji Zaidin from the Royal Guards Regiment, Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), and Corporal Mohammed Mahdi bin Haji Majdi from the Ammunition Group, Logistics Depot, Combat Service Support, RBLF, had successfully completed the International Ammunition Technician Course (IATC), conducted from 05th July 2025 until 05th December 2025 in Oxfordshire, United Kingdom. The closing event was held at the Comera-Ordnance Munition Explosives (OME) Room, Heyford Park Innovation Centre, attended by Commander Ali Mustafa bin Haji Umar, RBN, Defence Adviser of Brunei Darussalam to the United Kingdom, along with Mr. Will Cogley, Managing Director of Comera Group, and instructors from Comera-OME.

TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 5th December 2025 – A total of 24 Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) officers have successfully completed the Junior Officers Development Course (JODC) 02/2025, with a closing event held at the Auditorium, Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF). The six-week programme, conducted from 27th October to 5th December 2025, was participated by 44 officers from across the RBAF unit, including 11 from the Royal Brunei Navy and nine from the Royal Brunei Air Force.

TUTONG CAMP, Friday, 5th December 2025 – A total of 162 Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) personnel from the 177th recruit intake have completed the Advanced Infantry Course, with a closing event held at Ar-Rizqi Hall, Second Battalion, Royal Brunei Land Forces (2Bn RBLF) in Tutong Camp. In attendance to officiate the closing was Lieutenant Colonel Haji Mohammed Airul Wizam bin Haji Ahmad, Acting Field Commander of the RBLF, along with Commanding Officers and Acting Commanding Officers, Regimental Sergeant Majors, and course instructors.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Thursday, 4th December 2025 –The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) officers participated in the 21st ASEAN Defence Ministers' Meeting Plus Experts' Working Group on Peacekeeping Operations (ADMM-Plus EWG on PKO) held at the Rizqun International Hotel, Gadong. The meeting was co-chaired by Lieutenant Colonel Pengiran Aeddie Masjaffrie bin Pengiran Haji Md Ja'afar, representing Brunei Darussalam, and Senior Colonel Man Guangzhi, representing the People's Republic of China.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Thursday, 4th December 2025  In conjunction with the 64th Anniversary of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) and the 2nd Anniversary of the Field Headquarters RBLF, the sub-units of Field Headquarters held cleaning campaign simultaneously at several Muslim cemeteries, which include the Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Muslim CemeterySeri Pimping Muslim Cemetery, Datu Umpong Muslim Cemetery, Kampong Batong Muslim Cemetery, Bukit Berangan Muslim CemeteryKampong Lumapas Muslim Cemetery, Sengkarai Muslim Cemetery, and An-Naem Muslim Cemetery in Anduki.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Wednesday, 3rd December 2025 – The Exercise Planning Conference (EPC) for Exercise MAJU BERSAMA (XMB) 28/2025 between the First Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (1Bn RBLF) and the First Battalion Singapore Infantry Regiment (1SIR) was successfully conducted at the Officers' Mess, Berakas Garrison. The EPC was co-chaired by Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ghazali bin Haji Hussin, Acting Field Chief of Staff, RBLF, and Lieutenant Colonel Ng Han Siong Derrick, Brigade Operation Officer 1SIR. Meanwhile, the EPC for Exercise RINTIS BERSAMA (XRB) 25/2025 was held on a separate occasion at the Engineer Regiment (Engr Regt) Headquarters in Penanjong Garrison, led by Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ghazali, who is also the Commanding Officer of the RBLF Engr Regt, and Major William Kuek Wei Liang, Staff Officer Operations (S3), 38th Singapore Combat Engineers (38 SCE).
