The ceremony was conducted simultaneously at all RBLF suraus, including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque, with the main ceremony held at Surau Al-Faizun, Berakas Garrison. Of this number, 115 are orphans from military families, while another 58 are from civilian families. PENANJONG GARRISON, Wednesday, 11th March 2026 – The closing ceremony for the Junior Officer Tactics Course (JOTC) was held at the Officers' Mess in Penanjong Garrison. The closing was officiated by Colonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, Chief of Staff of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF). A total of 42 participants completed the eight-week course conducted from 5th January 2026 to 11th March 2026. The participants comprised officers from the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF), RBLF, Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF), and the Training Institute (TI) RBAF.

Suhaili, Officer Commanding of 'C' Company, Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (2Bn RBLF), has completed the 87th Battalion Tactics Course (BTC) at the Army Officers' Advanced School (AOAS), Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Advanced Schools, SAFTI Military Institute (SAFTI MI) in the Republic of Singapore. The seven-week course was conducted from 13th January to 27th February 2026. The closing event was officiated by Major General Cai Dexian, the Chief of Singapore Army.
