BERAKAS GARRISON, Wednesday, 24th April 2024 – Royal Brunei Land Force Headquarters (RBLF HQ) received a study visit from the 14th Command and Staff Course (CSC) from the Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) at Officers' Mess, Berakas Garrison. The course participants comprised of 37 officers from RBAF, Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) and International Officers.
Present during the visit was Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, the Acting Commander of RBLF, Chief of Staff RBLF and senior officers of RBLF.
The study visit commenced with a group photo followed by an introductory session on CSC 14/2024 by a course representative and continued with welcoming speech from the Acting Commander of RBLF. The visit then proceeded with a presentation by the Chief of Staff of the RBLF, focusing on the importance of understanding the role of RBLF and the 2021 Defense White Paper, particularly in the strategic environment of Brunei Darussalam. The visit concluded with the presentation of mementos to the Acting Commander of RBLF from the course.
The study visit serves to provide first-hand knowledge of the role and capabilities of RBLF, particularly in areas of defence cooperation in maintaining peace and security, Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief Operations within the region as well as the future prospects of the RBLF.
LAWATAN SAMBIL BELAJAR KURSUS MAKTAB TURUS SESI 14/2024 KE TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI
BERAKAS GARISON, Rabu, 24 April 2024 – Markas Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah menerima lawatan sambil belajar dari peserta Kursus Maktab Turus sesi 14/2024 Kursus daripada Akademi Pertahanan, Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) bertempat di Mes Pegawai Berakas Garison. Peserta kursus terdiri daripada 37 pegawai dari ABDB, Pasukan Polis Diraja Brunei (PPDB), dan Pegawai-pegawai dari luar negara.
Hadir semasa lawatan tersebut ialah Kolonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Pemangku Pemerintah TDDB, Ketua Staf TDDB dan pegawai-pegawai kanan TDDB.
Lawatan dimulakan dengan sesi bergambar ramai dan disusuli dengan ucapan perkenalan daripada wakil dari peserta-peserta Kursus Maktab Turus ke-14 diikuti dengan ucapan alu-aluan daripada Pemangku Pemerintah TDDB. Lawatan kemudian diteruskan dengan pembentangan daripada Ketua Staf TDDB yang tertumpu kepada kepentingan dalam memahami peranan TDDB dan Kertas Putih Pertahanan 2021 khususnya dalam hal persekitaran strategik Negara Brunei Darussalam. Lawatan tersebut diakhiri dengan penyampaian cenderahati kepada Pemangku Pemerintah TDDB daripada peserta kursus.
Lawatan sambil belajar itu bertujuan untuk memberi pengetahuan secara langsung tentang peranan dan keupayaan TDDB khususnya dalam bidang kerjasama pertahanan dalam mengekalkan keamanan dan keselamatan serta Operasi Bantuan Bencana Alam di rantau ini serta prospek masa depan TDDB.
