COMBAT SURVIVAL COURSE CLOSING EVENT

LABI, Wednesday, 20th May 2026 – The closing event for the Combat Survival Course was held at Kargu Dam, Labi, Belait. A total of 23 participants attended the course, comprising 15 personnel from the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), one from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), one from the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), and six personnel from the Special Forces Regiment Royal Brunei Armed Forces (SFR RBAF). The course was conducted from 06th April 2026 until 20th May 2026. Present to officiate the closing was Major Ahmad Bohare bin Haji Mansor, Commanding Officer of the School of Infantry (SOI), RBLF.


RBLF MEDICAL SERVICES PERSONNEL COMPLETED SMART MENTORING PROGRAM FOR NATIONAL USAR TEAM

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Saturday, 16 May 2026 – Three personnel from the Medical Services, Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), completed the Technical Mentoring Program conducted by the Special Malaysia Disaster Assistance and Rescue Team (SMART) in support of the development and accreditation efforts of Brunei Darussalam's National Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) Team towards the INSARAG External Classification (IEC). The five-day programme, held from 11th to 16th May 2026 at the Rimba Fire Station, involved participants from the National Disaster Management Centre (NDMC), the Special Technical Rescue Assistance (SATREA) Team of the Fire and Rescue Department, engineers from the Public Works Department, as well as paramedics from the Emergency Medical Ambulance Services (EMAS). Representing the Medical Services, RBLF were Captain Dr Naqibah binti Dato Paduka Ahmad Bukhari, Sergeant Muhammad Daniel Asyhraf bin Mohd Saidi and Sergeant Norazaidah binti Mohammad.


THE COMMANDER OF RBLF ATTENDS LANPAC SYMPOSIUM AND EXPOSITION 2026

HONOLULU, Thursday, 14th May 2026 – A delegation from the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), led by Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Commander RBLF, attended the Land Forces of the Pacific (LANPAC) Symposium and Exposition 2026 held at the Sheraton Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii, United States of America, from 12th to 14th May 2026. Organised by the United States Army Pacific (USARPAC) in collaboration with the Association of the United States Army (AUSA), the symposium brought together 25 international delegations, including 16 Chiefs of Army from across the Indo-Pacific region. This year's theme, “Prevailing through Transformation and Innovation", highlighted the importance of modernisation, adaptability and collaboration among land forces and partner nations in addressing evolving regional security challenges.


ADVANCED CLERK COURSE CLOSING CEREMONY

PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 14th May 2026 – A total of 57 personnel comprising 43 personnel from the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), 13 from the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and one personnel from the Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF)  had completed the Advanced Clerk Course (ACC) conducted by the Combat Service Support, RBLF (CSS RBLF) from 17th April 2026 to 15th May 2026. The closing ceremony was held at Al-Wafrah Hall, Field Headquarters Company, RBLF, Penanjong Garrison. Present to officiate the closing was Lieutenant Colonel Pengiran Haji Saiful Amirul Bakri bin Pengiran Haji Ramlee, Deputy Field Commander of the RBLF.


32 JPMC COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES STUDENTS COMPLETED CLINICAL PLACEMENT

BOLKIAH GARRISON, Thursday, 14th May 2026 A total of 32 students from the Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) College of Health Sciences completed their clinical placement with the Medical Services, Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), from 24th February 2026 to 14th May 2026. All students were attached to four Medical Reception Stations (MRS), namely Bolkiah Garrison, Muara Naval Base, Rimba Air Force Base and Penanjong Garrison.
