THE 32ND ASEAN ARMIES RIFLE MEET OFFICIALLY KICKED OFF | THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES, Thursday, 14th November 2024 – The 32nd ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) 2024 has commenced in a ceremony held at the Philippine Army Marksmanship Training Facility in Camp O'Donnell, Capas, Tarlac, the Republic of the Philippines. The ceremony began with a march past of the shooting contingents, followed by the flag hoisting. Officiating the 32nd AARM was Major General Leodevic B. Guinid, Vice Commander of the Philippine Army, who emphasised the significance of AARM as a platform for strengthening regional cooperation during the opening. Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Deputy Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force, together with the other ASEAN Armies representative had attended the ceremony. A total of 44 RBLF personnel participates in the competition, scheduled to take place from 15 to 20 November 2024.

SUNGAI SIAMAS PRIMARY SCHOOL EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO FIELD HEADQUARTERS ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE | PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 14th November 2024 – The Field Headquarters Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) welcomed an educational visit from Sungai Siamas Primary School, consisting a group of 60 students and 10 teachers held at the Armour Reconnaissance Squadron RBLF, Penanjong Garrison. The delegates were welcomed by Captain Delson bin Jumat, Training Officer School of Military Engineer, Engineer Regiment, RBLF.

COMMENCEMENT OF EXERCISE RINTIS BERSAMA 24/2024 | SUNGEI GEDONG CAMP, REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE – Wednesday, 13th November 2024 – The opening ceremony of Exercise RINTIS BERSAMA 24/2024 (XRB 24/24) took place at Sungei Gedong Camp, Republic of Singapore, involving 40 personnel from the Engineer Regiment, Royal Brunei Land Force (Engr Regt RBLF), 40 from the 38th Battalion Singapore Combat Engineers (38th SCE) and 10 from the Singapore 11th Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence Battalion.

ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE JOINED THE NATIONWIDE BEACH CLEANING CAMPAIGN FOR MARINE DEBRIS “COASTAL MARVEL” | BRUNEI DARUSSALAM, Wednesday, 13th November 2024 – The Ministry of Defence participated in the nationwide beach cleaning campaign for Marine Debris “Coastal Marvel" to support the Master Committee on Cleanliness Issues (JIIK) in protecting the environment of Brunei Darussalam. The campaign was held simultaneously at 11 beaches across three districts namely Jerudong, Berakas Forest Reserve, Mangsalut, Meragang, Muara, Danau, Seri Kenangan, Pengkalan Pinang, Penanjong, Kuala Belait, Seria and Lumut Recreational Beach. Brigadier General Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) joined the clean-up at the Kuala Belait Beach, and all activities were also participated by the District Officers, Heads of Mukims and Villages, as well as residents from respective districts.
