BERAKAS GARRISON, Monday, 16th February 2026 – In conjunction with the 52nd birthday celebration of His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Defence held a Doa Kesyukuran ceremony simultaneously at all Royal Brunei Armed Forces' suraus with the focal event at Surau Al-Fa'izun, Berakas Garrison. The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) also held a similar ceremony concurrently across all RBLF camps, including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque.

BRUNEI, Monday, 16th February 2026 – The promotion events for a total of 92 Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) and Junior Non-Commissioned Officers (JNCOs) from various Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) sub-units were held at respective units throughout the week. The promoted personnel included the RBLF Headquarters (HQ), RBLF HQ Company, Field HQ, Combat Service Support, Medical Services, Combat Boat Squadron, and Armour Recce Squadron.

PENANJONG GARRISON, Monday, 16 February 2026 – A total of two officers and nine personnel from the Armoured Reconnaissance Squadron Royal Brunei Land Forces (ARS RBLF) successfully completed the Basic CVR(T) Course and Troop Leader CVR(T) Course, conducted from 20th October 2025 to 16th February 2026. The closing event was held at the ARS RBLF Auditorium in Penanjong Garrison, officiated by Lieutenant Colonel Haji Erawan bin Haji Abu Bakar, Chief of Staff, Field Headquarters RBLF.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 13th February 2026 – In conjunction with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) 64th Anniversary, the Ministry of Defence held Khatam Al-Qur'an ceremonies simultaneously at all RBAF suraus with the focal event at Surau Al-Huda, Royl Brunei Muara Navy Base. The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) also held a similar event concurrently across all RBLF camps, including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque. KAMPONG UKONG, Friday, 13th February 2026 – The Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (2Bn RBLF) participated in a community service initiative in support of the Mukim Consultative Council (Majlis Perundingan Mukim, MPM) Ukong Community Service Project, held at Kampong Bukit, Mukim Ukong. The initiative was led by Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Muhammad Danial @ Tek Pin bin Yaakub, Penghulu Mukim Ukong, Tutong District. Also present was the Village Head of Kampong Bukit and Long Mayan, Awang Muhd Hafizul Azmee bin Abdullah Zaman.

PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 06th February 2026 – A total of 14 personnel from the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) and Brunei Engineering, Logistics and Training Solutions (BELTS) completed the Lightweight Tactical-All Terrain Vehicle (LT-ATV) Operator Training Course, from 27th January to 30th January 2026 and a total of 15 participants completed the LT-ATV Maintainer Training Course, from 02nd February to 05th February 2026. The closing ceremony for both courses was held at the Penanjong Workshop in Penanjong Garrison. Officiating the closing was Lieutenant Colonel Haji Mushiri Zulhibri bin Haji Awang, Head of the Force Capability Development RBLF Headquarters.

The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) emerged as champion in the Swimming Championship, securing five gold medals, four silver, and two bronze medals.

LUMUT CAMP, Thursday, 22nd January 2026 – Exercise PARANG KUKRI between the Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (3Bn RBLF) and Second Battalion Royal Gurkha Rifles (2RGR) has officially commenced with an opening ceremony held at the 3Bn RBLF Parade Square in Lumut Camp. The exercise will take place from 22nd January 2026 until 27th January 2026 and will be integrated within the framework of Exercise SEMANGAT WAJA 8/2026, involving a total of 192 personnel, 82 from the 3Bn RBLF and 112 from 2RGR. The opening was officiated by Major Khairul Faizin bin Haji Abdul Gapar, Commanding Officer of 3Bn RBLF and Major Benjamin Norfield, Chief of Staff British Forces Brunei (COS BFB).

SOUTH LEBANON, Thursday, 15th January 2026 – Officers and personnel of the Royal Brunei Land Forces who are currently joining the Malaysian Battalion 850-13 (MALBATT 850-13) as part of the peacekeeping mission under the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) held a Special Congregational Sunat Hajat Prayer to seek blessings for the continued health and well-being of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam. It was held at the Kawkaba Mosque, Ma'rakah Camp and the Al Mujahadah Mosque, Tibnine Camp, South Lebanon.
