TUTONG CAMP, Friday, 20th December 2024 – A handover ceremony between the outgoing Commanding Officer (CO) of the Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (2Bn RBLF), Lieutenant Colonel Pengiran Baharuddin bin Pengiran Haji Ali and the new CO, Major Mohammad Sufrien bin Johan was officially held at the Parade Square, Tutong Camp.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 13th December 2024 – The promotion ceremony for Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) Warrant Officers was held at the Warrant Officers', Staff Sergeants' and Sergeants' Mess, Berakas Garrison. Rank insignias were presented by Brigadier General Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Commander of RBLF. Also in attendance were acting RBLF Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of RBLF, Senior Officers, Officers, Senior Non-Commissioned Officers of the RBLF as well as family members of promoted personnel.

JERUDONG, Thursday, 12th December 2024 – In conjunction with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) 63rd Anniversary, 35 personnel from the Combat Service SupportRoyal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) conducted cemetery cleaning activity including the recitation of Surah Yassin, Tahlil and Doa Arwah at the Bukit Berangan Muslim Cemetery, Kampong Jerudong.

PENANJONG GARRISONThursday 12th December 2024 – The closing ceremony of the Basic Clerk Course Series 2/2024, Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) was held today at Dewan Nikmat, Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), Penanjong Garrison. The five-week course, conducted from 8th November to 13th December 2024 was organised by Field Headquarters RBLF and comprised of a total of 72 personnel from the RBLF, Training Institute RBAF and the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF). Lieutenant Colonel Erawan bin Haji Abu Bakar, Chief of Staff, Field Headquarters RBLF was present to officially conclude the course. Also, in attendance were invited officers from various units of the RBLF, Training Institute RBAF, MINDEF, and the course instructors.

MURAI URBAN TRAINING FACILITY, REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Wednesday, 11th December 2024 – The closing ceremony of Exercise MAJU BERSAMA 27/2024 (XMB 27/2024) took place today at the Murai Urban Training Facility, Republic of Singapore. Brigadier General Cai Dexian, Division Commander of the 3rd Division, Singapore Army, Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and Lieutenant Colonel Erwan bin Haji IbrahimActing Field Commander of the RBLF were present for the official conclusion of the exercise.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Sunday, 8th December 2024 – In conjunction with the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) 63rd Anniversary, the RBLF organised a Family Day event. The Family Day took place at Berakas Garrison for Brunei-Muara District and Temburong District zones, and Penanjong Garrison for the Tutong and Belait zones.

PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 06 December 2024 – Lieutenant Colonel Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Commanding Officer of School of Infantry Royal Brunei Land Forces (SOI RBLF) officiated the closing event for the Regimental Signal Officer and Warrant Officer Course Series 2024 at SOI RBLF Headquarters, Penanjong Garrison. The course, conducted by the Signal Training Wing, RBLF was successfully completed by 22 participants from the RBLF, Royal Brunei Navy, Royal Brunei Air Force and Joint Force Headquarters, which was held from 13th September 2024 to 6th December 2024.

TUTONG CAMP, Friday, 06th December 2024 – The closing event for the Advanced Infantry Course Series 5/2024 took place at the Ar-Rizq Hall, Tutong Camp, with a total of 117 participants completing the 12-week course held from 9th September to 6th December 2024. The event was attended by Lieutenant Colonel Erwan bin Hj Ibrahim, Acting Field Commander of the RBLF alongside the Commanding Officer of the School of Infantry RBLF, Invited Guest Officers, Regiment Sergeant Majors and Course Instructors.

KAMPONG MENUNGGOL, 06 December 2024 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) recently participated in Community Health and Dental Roadshow at Nakhoda Abdul Rashid Primary School Hall, Kampong Menunggol, organised by the Joint Force Headquarters of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) in conjunction with the 63rd RBAF Anniversary. A total of 11 personnel from the RBLF Medical Services and 16 personnel from the RBLF Dental Services were involved in the roadshow.

PASIR LABA CAMP, REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Thursday, 05th December 2024 – The opening ceremony of Exercise MAJU BERSAMA 27/2024 (XMB 27/24) took place at Pasir Laba Camp, Republic of Singapore, involving 260 personnel from the Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (3Bn RBLF) and the 41st Battalion Singapore Armoured Regiment (41 SAR). The exercise is scheduled from 3rd to 13th December 2024.

PASIR LABA CAMP, THURSDAY, 05th December 2024 – Brigadier General Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Commander Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) received a Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Honorary Master Parachutist Wing presented by Major General David Neo, Chief of Army SAF. The event was held at the Specialist Cadet School, Pasir Laba Camp in conjunction with the opening of Exercise Maju Bersama 27/2024. The badge presentation signifies the strong camaraderie between the RBLF and the SAF, which continues to be strengthened through regular exchange of visits, exercises, professional exchanges, trainings and courses.

BERAKAS GARISON, Tuesday , 03th December 2024 –    The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) held a Regimental Dinner in conjunction with the 63rd Anniversary at the Officers' Mess, Berakas Garrison. Brigadier General Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Commander of RBLF, and spouse, Pengiran Hajah Rozedah binti Pengiran Haji Sulaiman were present to grace the event. Also present were Deputy Commander of RBLF, Chief of Staff RBLF, Senior Officers and Officers with their respective spouses as well as former Senior Officers and Officers of the RBLF who has retired in the year of 2024. This includes Colonel (Dr) Awang Mohammad Hafizul bin Haji Mohammad Hassan, Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Mardiana binti Mohd Tuah Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Muhammad Aiman Syazwi bin Abdul Rahim.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 29th November 2024 – The Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) consisting of 108 personnel from the Third Battalion (3Bn) RBLF will participate in the Exercise MAJU BERSAMA (XMB) 27/2024 which is scheduled to take place from 3rd to 14th December 2024 in the Republic of Singapore. The Brunei Darussalam flag was handed over by Brigadier General Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Commander of the RBLF to Major Muhd Khairi bin Ahmad Hussin, the Head Contingent of the exercise, in a ceremony held at the RBLF Headquarters, Berakas Garrison.

PENANJONG GARRISONFriday29th November 2024 – Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ghazali bin Haji Hussin, Commanding Officer of the Engineer Regiment, Royal Brunei Land Force (Engr Regt RBLF) officiated the closing event for the Booby Trap Course 2024 at FIBUA Village, Penanjong Garrison. A total of 28 participants from the Engr Regt RBLF as well as Assault Pioneers and Special Task Platoons from all infantry battalions has participated the course, held from 4th to 29th November 2024.

PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 29th November 2024 – The Basic Communication Information System Course 2024 has ended with a closing event held at the School of Infantry, Royal Brunei Land Force (SOI RBLF), Penanjong Garrison. The course was conducted from 13th September to 29th November 2024, participated by 29 personnel from the RBLF, Royal Brunei Air Force, Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), Special Force Regiment RBAF and the Gurkha Security Unit. PENANJONG GARRISONThursday, 28th November 2024 – The Small Arms Instructor Course Series 2/2024 has come to an end with a closing event held at the Training Simulation Centre in Penanjong Garrison. A total of 37 participants from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), Internal Security Departments, Prisons Department and Narcotics Control Bureau attended the course from 5th September to 28th November 2024. TANAH JAMBU, Sunday, 24 November 2024 – The opening of the Regional Jungle Warfare Symposium (RJWS) 2024 was officiated by Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) in a ceremony held at the Defence Academy, RBAF in Tanah Jambu. Also in attendance were Her Excellency Alexandra McKenzie, British High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam, Services and Acting Service Commander, Acting Joint Force Commander, Defence Advisers and Defence Attachés accredited to Brunei Darussalam, Directors, Commandants and invited guests. Co-hosted by the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) and the British Forces Brunei (BFB)the RJWS 2024 is scheduled to take place from 24 to 26 November 2024 with the theme “Enhancing Survivability Through Training and Technology".

THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES, Friday, 22 November 2024 – Brigadier General Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) attended the 25th ASEAN Chiefs of Army Multilateral Meeting (ACAMM), held from 20 to 22 November 2024 in Clark, the Republic of the Philippines. The 25th ACAMM was officiated by Lieutenant General Roy Mabagos Galido, Commanding General of the Philippine Army with the theme “Strengthening Partnership and Camaraderie Towards Regional Stability". Prior to the meeting, a keynote address was delivered by Secretary Eduardo M Ano, National Security Adviser and Director General, National Security Council.

THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES, Friday, 22nd November 2024 - The 32nd ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) has come to an end in a closing ceremony held at the Philippine Army Marksmanship Training Facility in Camp O'Donnell, Capas, Tarlac, the Republic of the Philippines. Brigadier General Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) attended the event along with the other ASEAN Chiefs of Armies.

BENGKURONG, Wednesday, 20th November 2024 – The 30th edition of Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 2024, held in Brunei Darussalam, continues its series of community outreach initiatives with a charity project at Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam in Kampong Bengkurong. A total of 10 Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) personnel and 10 United States Navy personnel collaborated in a Community Relations (COMREL) efforts, building wooden chairs and assisting with painting projects at the centre.

REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Wednesday 20th November 2024 – Exercise RINTIS BERSAMA 24/2024 (XRB 24/2024) has officially ended with a closing ceremony held at the Murai Urban Training Facility, Republic of Singapore. The ceremony commenced with a parade inspection, followed by closing remarks by Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Shalleh bin Haji Ismail, Head of Doctrine, Royal Brunei Land Force Headquarters (RBLF HQ). In his speech, he emphasised the importance of XRB as a significant platform for valuable exchange of knowledge, experiences and expertise, while strengthening mutual understanding and further foster the bilateral relationships between both armies. Also in attendance was Colonel Lim Shumin, Commander of the Army Combat Engineer Group, Singapore Army.

REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Friday, 15 November 2024 – Lieutenant Colonel Mushiri Zulkhibri bin Haji Awang, the Head of Capability Development from the Royal Brunei Land Force along with two senior officers respectively from the Royal Brunei Navy and Royal Brunei Air Force, has successfully completed the Senior Fellowship Program for Senior Leaders at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP), National University of Singapore.
