| HIS MAJESTY BESTOWS STATE HONORARY MEDALS TO 29 RBLF OFFICERS AND PERSONNEL | BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Wednesday, 29 April 2026 – His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, has consented to confer State Honorary Medals upon civilian and military personnel of the Ministry of Defence in conjunction with His Majesty's 79th Birthday Celebration. The Investiture Ceremony took place at the Balai Singgahsana Indera Kenchana, Istana Nurul Iman. A total of 29 personnel from the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) were conferred with State Honorary Medals. Five officers were awarded the Pingat Jasa Kebaktian (P.J.K.), six officers and personnel received the Pingat Indah Kerja Baik (P.I.K.B.), and eighteen personnel were awarded the Pingat Pahlawan (P.P.).

| EXERCISE LATMA KERIS SATRIA EXERCISE 17/2026 CONCLUDES | BANGAR CAMP, Monday, 27th April 2026 – The closing ceremony of Exercise LATMA KERIS SATRIA 17/2026 took place at 'E' Company, First Battalion, Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), Bangar Camp. The eight-day bilateral exercise, conducted from 20th to 27th April 2026, involved personnel from 1Bn RBLF and Infantry Battalion 614/Raja Pandhita, Indonesian National Army–Army (Yonif 614/RJP TNI-AD).

| PASSING OUT PARADE CEREMONY FOR THE 179TH INTAKE MALE RECRUITS OF THE RBAF | PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 24th April 2026 – A total of 201 male recruits, consisting of 173 Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) male recruits from the 179th Intake, successfully completed their Basic Military Training with a Passing Out Parade Ceremony held at the Parade Square, Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF), Penanjong Garrison. Present to officiate the ceremony as the Guest of Honour was Brigadier General (U) Haji Haszahaidi bin Haji Ahmad Daud, Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force. Also in attendance were Deputy Service Commanders, senior officers, officers, personnel from the Ministry of Defence, as well as families and guardians of the graduating recruits.

| INTERMEDIATE CLERK COURSE CLOSING EVENT | PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 23rd April 2026 – A total of 38 participants from the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), and two personnel from the Ministry of Defence, completed the Intermediate Clerk Course conducted by the Combat Service Support, RBLF (CSS RBLF), from 30th March to 23rd April 2026. The closing event was held at Al-Wafrah Hall, Field Headquarters Company (Field HQ Coy), RBLF, Penanjong Garrison, officiated by Lieutenant Colonel Pengiran Haji Saiful Amirul Bakri bin Pengiran Haji Ramlee, Deputy Field Commander, RBLF.

| BASIC COMMUNICATION INFORMATION SYSTEM COURSE CONCLUDED | PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 23rd April 2026 – The Closing Ceremony for the Basic Communication Information System (BCIS) was held at the School of Infantry, Royal Brunei Land Forces (SOI RBLF), Penanjong Garrison. A total of 41 participants completed the course, comprising 27 personnel from RBLF, one from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), six personnel from the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), four from the Joint Force Headquarters Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JFHQ RBAF), one from the Ministry of Defence, and two personnel from the Special Force Regiment RBAF. The course was conducted from 17th February 2026 to 24th April 2026. Present to officiate the ceremony was Major Ahmad Bohare bin Haji Mansor, Commanding Officer of SOI RBLF.
