BANGAR CAMP, Tuesday, 10 March 2026 – The Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) held a formal handover ceremony for a newly constructed funeral rites facility for Surau Al-Quwwah at Bangar Camp, Temburong District. The ceremony was officiated by Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF). Also in attendance to witness the event were Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Commander of the RBLF, along with Military Directors and senior RBAF officers.
The proceedings commenced with a congregational Zohor prayer, followed by a Tadarus Al-Quran session. The event reached its highlight as the Commander of the RBAF officially inaugurated the facility with the unveiling of a commemorative plaque.
The construction of the facility was fully funded by the RBAF Welfare Fund, amounting to BND$37,537.00. The project was managed by the RBLF Engineer Regiment since construction began in October 2025. The completion of this project is intended to provide essential and continuous support not only for RBAF personnel stationed in the Temburong District but also to serve as a meaningful community contribution for the local residents. The successful handover of this facility marks a significant step in enhancing the spiritual and welfare infrastructure at Bangar Camp, further strengthening the ties between the military and the local community.
PENYERAHAN BILIK PENYEMPURNAAN JENAZAH SURAU AL-QUWWAH PERKHEMAHAN BANGAR
PERKHEMAHAN BANGAR, Selasa, 10 Mac 2026 – Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah mengadakan majlis penyerahan bagi sebuah bilik penyempurnaan jenazah yang baru kepada Surau Al-Quwwah, Perkhemahan Bangar, Daerah Temburong. Majlis penyerahan tersebut telah disempurnakan oleh Yang Mulia Mejar Jeneral Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Pemerintah Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB). Turut hadir menyaksikan ialah Yang Mulia Brigedier Jeneral Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Pemerintah TDDB, berserta Pengarah-Pengarah Tentera dan Pegawai-Pegawai Kanan ABDB.
Majlis tersebut dimulakan dengan sembahyang Fardhu Zuhor berjemaah, diikuti dengan sesi tadarus Al-Quran. Majlis kemudiannya diteruskan dengan perasmian Bilik Penyempurnaan Jenazah yang disempurnakan melalui peletakan plak oleh Yang Mulia Pemerintah ABDB.
Pembinaan kemudahan ini dibiayai sepenuhnya melalui peruntukan daripada Tabung Kebajikan ABDB berjumlah BND$37,537.00, di mana segala urusan pembinaan telah dikendalikan oleh Rejimen Jurutera TDDB bermula pada bulan Oktober 2025. Keberhasilan projek ini bukan sahaja dihasratkan untuk memberikan kemudahan berterusan kepada warga ABDB, malah ianya juga berfungsi sebagai sumbangan khidmat masyarakat yang bermakna buat penduduk setempat.
