LUMUT CAMP, Thursday, 12th February 2026 – The Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (3Bn RBLF) held a change of command ceremony for its Regiment Sergeant Major (RSM) at the Parade Square, 3Bn RBLF in Lumut Camp. The ceremony marked the official handover from the outgoing RSM, First Warrant Officer Haji Hashim bin Haji Awang Besar, to the newly appointed RSM, First Warrant Officer Haji Azril Nizam bin Haji Md Rais.
The ceremony commenced with a parade inspection, followed by the recital of Surah Al-Fatihah and a farewell speech by the outgoing RSM. The ceremony then continued with the signing of the Handing Over Certificate, symbolising the official handover of leadership, and an address by the newly appointed RSM, before concluding with the recitation of Doa.
3BN TDDB MENGALU-ALUKAN SARJAN MEJAR REJIMEN BARU
PERKHEMAHAN LUMUT, Khamis, 12 Februari 2026 – Batalion Ketiga Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (3Bn TDDB) telah mengadakan Upacara Serah Terima Tugas bagi Sarjan Mejar Rejimen (SMR) bertempat di Padang Kawad 3Bn TDDB, Perkhemahan Lumut. Majlis tersebut menandakan penyerahan rasmi daripada SMR yang lama, Pegawai Waran Satu Haji Hashim bin Haji Awang Besar, kepada SMR yang baru dilantik, Pegawai Waran Satu Haji Azril Nizam bin Haji Md Rais.
Upacara dimulakan dengan pemeriksaan perbarisan diikuti dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan ucapan perpisahan oleh mantan SMR. Upacara kemudiannya diteruskan dengan menandatangani Sijil Serah Terima Tugas, melambangkan penyerahan rasmi kepimpinan, dan disusuli dengan ucapan daripada SMR yang baru, sebelum diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa.
