BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 13th February 2026 – In conjunction with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) 64th Anniversary, the Ministry of Defence held Khatam Al-Qur'an ceremonies simultaneously at all RBAF suraus with the focal event at Surau Al-Huda, Royl Brunei Muara Navy Base. The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) also held a similar event concurrently across all RBLF camps, including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque. In attendance at Surau Al-Fa'izun, Berakas Garrison were Colonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, RBLF Chief of Staff, Senior Officers, Officers and personnel.
The ceremony began with the recital of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the recitation of Al-Quran verses from the Khatam Al-Quran participants. Takhtim and Doa Khatam were then led by Imam Syakir Farhan bin Hj Umar, Imam of Surau-Al Faizun. The ceremony was further graced with Dikir Marhaban, before concluding with Sunat Hajat and Asr prayers, as well as Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
MAJLIS KHATAM AL-QURAN SEMPENA HARI ULANG TAHUN ANGKATAN BERSENJATA DIRAJA BRUNEI KE-64
BERAKAS GARISON, Jumaat, 13 Februari 2026 – Sempena Hari Ulang Tahun Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB), Kementerian Pertahanan telah mengadakan Majlis Khatam Al-Qur'an secara serentak di semua surau perkhemahan ABDB dengan tumpuan utama di Surau Al-Huda, Pangkalan Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei. Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) turut mengadakan majlis tersebut secara serentak di semua surau TDDB termasuk Masjid Pulau Baru-Baru. Hadir di Surau Al-Fa'izun, Berakas Garison ialah Kolonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, Ketua Staf TDDB, Pegawai-pegawai Kanan, pegawai-pegawai dan anggota TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Sayyidul Istighfar dan Surah Al-Fatihah diikuti dengan bacaan ayat-ayat Al-Quran daripada peserta Khatam Al-Quran. Takhtim dan Doa Khatam kemudiannya dipimpin oleh Imam Syakir Farhan bin Hj Umar, Imam Surau-Al Faizun. Majlis diserikan lagi dengan Dikir Marhaban, sebelum diakhiri dengan Sembahyang Sunat Hajat dan Asar, serta Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam
