MUARA, Friday, 22nd August 2025 – A total of 7 Royal Brunei Land Forces' (RBLF) personnel have completed the Basic Fast Boat Handling Course, which was held from 4th August to 22nd August 2025. The closing ceremony was officiated by Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Suwardi Ariffin bin Pehin Datu Laksamana Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Latiff, Chief of Staff of the Joint Force, Royal Brunei Armed Forces, held at the Marine Police, Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) in Muara. Also in attendance was Lieutenant Colonel Haji Erawan bin Haji Abu Bakar, Field Chief of Staff, RBLF.
The course featured various important aspects, including fast boat operation techniques, water safety, and operational procedures in real-life situations, enabling the participants to apply the knowledge gained effectively. Besides enhancing personnel's skills, the course also provided an opportunity for participants to cooperate and strengthen professional ties among various security agencies, including the RBPF, the Narcotics Control Bureau, and the Royal Customs and Excise Department.
KURSUS ASAS PENGENDALIAN PERAHU LAJU
MUARA, Jumaat, 22 Ogos 2025 – Seramai 07 anggota Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah menamatkan Kursus Asas Pengendalian Perahu Laju yang berlangsung dari 04 Ogos hingga 22 Ogos 2025. Acara penutup telah disempurnakan oleh Leftenan Kolonel Muhammad Suwardi Ariffin bin Pehin Datu Laksamana Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Latiff, Ketua Staf Angkatan Bersama, Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei bertempat di Polis Marin, Pasukan Polis Diraja Brunei (PPDB), Muara. Turut hadir ialah Leftenan Kolonel Haji Erawan bin Haji Abu Bakar, Ketua Staf Medan TDDB.
Kursus ini meliputi pelbagai aspek penting seperti teknik pengendalian perahu, keselamatan di air serta prosedur operasi dalam situasi sebenar yang mana membolehkan peserta kursus mengaplikasikan ilmu yang dipelajari. Selain daripada meningkatkan kecekapan anggota, kursus ini juga memberi peluang kepada peserat kursus untuk bekerjasama dan mempereratkan hubungan profesional di kalangan agensi-agensi keselamatan yang turut dihadiri oleh PPDB, Biro Kawalan Narkotik dan Jabatan Kastam dan Eksais Diraja.
