ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCES CELEBRATE ILAL HIJRAH 1447
BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 26th June 2025 – In conjunction with the New Year of 1447 Hijrah, Brunei Darussalam celebrated the Ilal Hijrah at all mosques, suraus and religious halls nationwide. The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) held the event simultaneously at all RBLF Suraus including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque with the focal event held at Surau Al-Fa'izun, Berakas Garrison.
The event commenced with the recitation of Doa Akhir Tahun 1446 Hijrah and proceeded with Maghrib prayer and the recitation of Doa Awal Tahun 1447 Hijrah led by Imam Muhammad Syakir Farhan bin Haji Omar, Imam of Surau Al-Fa'izun. The celebration was further enlivened with Sunnat Hajat prayer and the recitation of Surah Yassin. Also in attendance were Lieutenant Colonel Haji Mohammed Airul Wizam bin Haji Ahmad, Acting Chief of Staff of RBLF, Senior Officers, Officers and personnel of RBLF.
The theme for 1447 Hijrah is "Semarak Hijrah Mencapai Kecemerlangan Yang Mampan", which highlights the aspiration to build a resilient and continuously excellent society within the framework of Islamic values.
TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI MENYAMBUT ILAL HIJRAH 1447
BERAKAS GARISON, Khamis, 26 Jun 2025 – Negara Brunei Darussalam telah menyambut Tahun Baru 1447 Hijrah dengan mengadakan sambutan Ilal Hijrah di masjid-masjid, surau-surau dan balai-balai ibadat seluruh negara. Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) turut mengadakan majlis tersebut secara serentak di semua Surau TDDB termasuk Masjid Pulau Baru-Baru dengan tumpuan utama di Surau Al-Fa'izun, Berakas Garison.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Doa Akhir Tahun 1446 Hijrah dan diteruskan dengan Sembahyang Fardhu Maghrib dan bacaan Doa Awal Tahun 1447 Hijrah oleh Imam Muhammad Syakir Farhan bin Haji Omar, Imam of Surau Al-Fa'izun. Sambutan disemarakkan lagi dengan Sembahyang Sunat Hajat dan bacaan Surah Yassin. Turut hadir ialah Leftenan Kolonel Haji Mohammed Airul Wizam bin Haji Ahmad, Pemangku Ketua Staf TDDB, Pegawai-pegawai Kanan, Pegawai-pegawai dan anggota-anggota TDDB.
Tema bagi tahun 1446 Hijrah ialah “Semarak Hijrah Mencapai Kecemerlangan Yang Mampan" menekankan aspirasi ke arah pembentukan masyarakat berdaya tahan dan cemerlang secara berterusan mengikuti nilai-nilai Islam.
