​TAGUIG CITY, REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES, Wednesday, 18 June 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) attended the 6^th Brunei-Philippines Army Working Group (6^th BRUPHIL AWG) Meeting at Philippine Army Officers' Clubhouse, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, Republic of the Philippines.

The meeting was co-chaired by Colonel Benjamin L. Leander, the Assistant Chief of Staff for Plans, G5, Philippine Army (PA) and Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Fakaruddin Zuraidie bin Haji Ramli, Field Commander RBLF. Also in attendance were Colonel Tommy A Deliva Gsc (INF) Chief of the Office of the International Military Affairs (OIMA), PA and other Senior Officers of the RBLF and PA.

This annual engagement continues to serve an important platform for both armed forces in reviewing the outcomes of previous BRUPHIL activities as well as bilateral engagements throughout 2024 and 2025. During the conference, both parties agreed on a series of bilateral cooperation such as exchange visits, training courses and various joint activities for the year 2025/2026. The conference concluded with the signing of the Minutes of Meeting.​

As part of the programme, the PA organised several key engagements, including a courtesy call to Lieutenant General Roy Mabagos Galido, PA, the Commanding General of the Philippine Army (CGPA), on top of a working visit to the Training Command (TRACOM) at Camp O'Donnell, Capas, Tarlac followed with a courtesy call to Colonel Julius A. Cabarloc Mnsa (INF), Chief of Staff, TRACOM, PA.​

The BRUPHIL AWG meeting is an annual collaboration platform between both Land Forces to further strengthen bilateral cooperation. The 7^th BRUPHIL AWG will be hosted by the RBLF in 2026.

​TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI MENGHADIRI PERSIDANGAN BRUNEI-PHILIPPINES ARMY WORKING GROUP KE-6 (BRUPHIL AWG 06/2025)

 KOTA TAGUIG, REPUBLIK FILIPINA, Rabu, 18 Jun 2025 – Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah menghadiri Brunei-Philippines Army Working Group Ke-6 (6^th BRUPHIL AWG 06/2025) yang berlangsung di Philippine Army Officers' Clubhouse, Fort Bonifacio, Kota Taguig, Republik Filipina.

Mesyuarat tersebut dipengerusikan bersama oleh Kolonel Benjamin L. Leander, Ketua Staf Perancangan, G5, Philippine Army (PA), dan Leftenan Kolonel Mohammad Fakaruddin Zuraidie bin Haji Ramli, Pemerintah Medan TDDB. Turut hadir ialah Kolonel Tommy A Deliva Gsc (INF), Chief of the Office of the International Military Affairs (OIMA), PA serta Pegawai-pegawai Kanan TDDB dan PA.

Perjumpaan tahunan ini berfungsi sebagai platform penting bagi kedua-dua angkatan tentera untuk menyemak semula hasil aktiviti BRUPHIL dan aktiviti-aktiviti dua hala sepanjang tahun 2024 dan 2025. Dalam persidangan itu, kedua-dua pihak bersetuju dengan beberapa siri kerjasama dua hala melalui pertukaran lawatan, kursus dan pelbagai aspek bagi tahun 2025/2026. Persidangan diakhiri dengan menandatangani Minit Mesyuarat.

Antara kegiatan program yang dianjurkan oleh PA adalah kunjungan hormat kepada Leftenan Jeneral Roy Mabagos Galido, PA, Commanding General Philippine Army (CGPA) serta lawatan kerja ke Training Command (TRACOM) di Camp O'Donnel Capas, Tarlac dan seterusnya kunjungan hormat kepada Kolonel Julius A Cabarloc Mnsa (INF), Ketua Staf TRACOM, PA.

Persidangan BRUPHIL AWG merupakan satu platform yang diadakan setiap tahun untuk mengukuhkan lagi kerjasama dua hala di antara kedua Angkatan Tentera Darat. Mesyuarat BRUPHIL AWG kali ke-7 seterusnya akan dihoskan oleh TDDB pada tahun 2026.
