BERAKAS GARRISON, Saturday, 24th February 2024 – The Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) marked Nisfu Sya'ban with ceremonies held throughout RBLF camps including Masjid Pulau Baru-Baru, with the focal event at Surau Al–Faizun, Berakas Garrison.
Present at the Surau Al-Faizun, Berakas Garrison was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (R) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi
bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at The Prime Minister's Office And Minister of Defence II and the Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces. Also present were Permanent Secretary, senior leadership and officers and personnel of the RBLF.
The event began with the Fardhu Maghrib prayers, and three recitations of Surah Yasin. It continued with a special doa to mark Nisfu Sya'ban and concluded with Fardhu Isya' prayers.
It has been narrated that the Messenger of Allah Peace Be Upon Him said: "There are five nights on which du'a is not rejected, the first night of Rajab, The fifteenth night of Sya'ban, Thursday night, The night of before 'Eid Al Fitr and the night before Eid Al-Adha." Thus, Nisfu Sya'ban stands as a night of profound significance and abundant blessings.
TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI SAMBUT MALAM NISFU SYA'BAN 1445 HIJRAH
BERAKAS GARISON, Sabtu, 24 Februari 2024 – Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) menyambut malam Nisfu Sya'ban yang berlangsung di semua perkhemahan TDDB termasuk Masjid Pulau Baru-Baru dengan tumpuan utama di Surau Al–Faizun, Berakas Garison.
Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Mejar Jeneral (B) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri dan Menteri Pertahanan II dan Pemerintah Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei telah hadir di Surau Al - Fai'zun. Turut hadir ialah Setiausaha Tetap, peringkat kepimpinan, pegawai kanan, pegawai - pegawai dan warga TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan menunaikan Sembahyang Fardhu Maghrib berjemaah, bacaan Surah Yasin sebanyak tiga kali, bacaan doa khas Malam Nisfu Sya'ban dan diakhiri dengan Sembahyang Fardhu Isyak berjemaah.
Telah diriwayatkan bahawa Rasulullah Sallahu Alaihi Wassalam bersabda: "Ada lima malam yang do'anya tidak ditolak, malam pertama Rejab, malam kelima belas Sya'ban, malam Khamis, malam sebelum 'Idul Adha. Fitri dan malam sebelum Idul Adha." Maka, Nisfu Sya'ban berdiri sebagai malam yang penuh makna dan keberkatan yang melimpah.
