​PENANJONG GARRISON, Monday, 16 February 2026 – A total of two officers and nine personnel from the Armoured Reconnaissance Squadron Royal Brunei Land Forces (ARS RBLF) successfully completed the Basic CVR(T) Course and Troop Leader CVR(T) Course, conducted from 20^th October 2025 to 16^th February 2026. The closing event was held at the ARS RBLF Auditorium in Penanjong Garrison, officiated by Lieutenant Colonel Haji Erawan bin Haji Abu Bakar, Chief of Staff, Field Headquarters RBLF.

The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by a course review by the Acting Training Officer of ARS RBLF, Lieutenant Muhammad Imma'mull Al Khair bin Zailan, and the presentation of badges and certificates to all participants. The Best Overall Student Award was presented to Private Md Zulhilmi Hadi bin Haji Mohamad. The event concluded with closing remarks by the Chief of Staff, followed by the recitation of the closing Doa and a group photo session.

The course aims to expose trainees to the basic lessons and standard operating procedures for handling the CVR(T) vehicle, including the operation of electronic communication equipment, driving and maintaining the vehicle, handling the weapons systems, as well as tactics for employing Armoured vehicles. It also trains personnel to become Armoured Troop Leaders, capable of commanding CVR(T) platforms in reconnaissance roles.

PENUTUP KURSUS ASAS DAN KETUA TRUP CVR(T)

PENANJONG GARISON, Isnin, 16 Februari 2026 – Seramai dua Pegawai dan sembilan anggota daripada Skuadron Kereta Perisai Peninjau Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (SKPP TDDB) telah berjaya menamatkan Kursus Asas CVR(T) dan Kursus Ketua Trup CVR(T) yang dilaksanakan bermula 20 Oktober 2025 hingga 16 Februari 2026. Acara Penutup telah diadakan di Dewan Auditorium, SKPP TDDB, Penanjong Garison dan disempurnakan oleh Leftenan Kolonel Haji Erawan bin Haji Abu Bakar, Ketua Staf Markas Medan TDDB.

Acara dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah, diikuti dengan ulasan kursus yang disampaikan oleh Leftenan Muhammad Imma'mull Al Khair bin Zailan, Pemangku Pegawai Latihan SKPP TDDB, dan seterusnya penyampaian lencana dan sijil kursus kepada semua peserta. Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Keseluruhan telah dianugerahkan kepada Soldadu Md Zulhilmi Hadi bin Haji Mohamad. Acara diakhiri dengan ucapan penutup oleh Ketua Staf, diikuti dengan bacaan Doa penutup dan sesi bergambar ramai.

Kursus ini bertujuan untuk mendedahkan anggota kepada pelajaran asas dan prosedur operasi standard untuk mengendalikan kenderaan CVR(T), termasuk pengendalian peralatan komunikasi elektronik, memandu dan menyelenggara kenderaan, mengendalikan sistem senjata, serta taktik menggunakan kenderaan perisai. Ianya  juga turut melatih anggota untuk menjadi Ketua Trup yang mampu mengetuai platform CVR(T) dalam peranan peninjauan.
