BRUNEI, Wednesday, 29 December 2021 – The Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) conducted the recitation of Surah Yassin and 40 days Tahlil Ceremonies at two separate venues. The Yassin and 40 days Tahlil Ceremony for the late Brigadier General (R) Dato Seri Pahlawan Shahril Anwar bin Haji Ma'awiah was held at Kianggeh Muslim Cemetery whilst the ceremony for the late Sergeant Saiful Bahrin bin Mohd Jinin was held at Kerakas Payau Muslim Cemetary, Tutong.
Present at the Kerakas Payau Muslim Cemetary was Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of RBLF, Senior Officers and officers of RBLF.
Meanwhile, the delegation at the Kianggeh Muslim Cemetery was led by Colonel Azman bin Haji Bangkol, Deputy Commander of RBLF. Also present were RBLF Senior Officers and officers.
Both ceremonies commenced with the recitation of Yassin and Tahlil followed by Doa Arwah.
The events were held in remembrance of the passing of any personnel of the Ministry of Defence as well as Royal Brunei Armed Forces.

BRUNEI, Rabu, 29 Disember 2021 – Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Bacaan Surah Yassin dan Tahlil 40 hari yang telah diadakan di dua tempat berasingan. Majlis Bacaan Surah Yassin dan Tahlil 40 hari bagi Allahyarham Brigedier Jeneral (B) Dato Seri Pahlawan Shahril Anwar bin Haji Ma'awiah telah diadakan di Tanah Perkuburan Islam Kianggeh, manakala bagi Allahyarham Sarjan Saiful Bahrin bin Mohd Jinin telah diadakan bertempat di Tanah Perkuburan Islam Kerakas Payau, Tutong.
Hadir di Tanah Perkuburan Islam Kerakas Payau ialah Brigedier Jeneral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Pemerintah TDDB, Pegawai-pegawai Kanan dan Pegawai-pegawai TDDB.
Sementara itu, rombongan di Tanah Perkuburan Islam Kianggeh telah diketuai oleh Kolonel Azman bin Haji Bangkol, Timbalan Pemerintah TDDB. Turut hadir ialah Pegawai-pegawai Kanan dan Pegawai-pegawai TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Yassin dan Tahlil dan diteruskan dengan Doa Arwah.
Tujuan acara ini diadakan bagi memperingati pemergian anggota-anggota Kementerian Pertahanan serta Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei.
