LUMUT CAMP, Friday, 10th April 2026 – The closing event for the Advanced Infantry Course (AIC) took place at the Ar-Din Hall, Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (3Bn RBLF) in Lumut Camp. A total of 104 personnel from the 178th male recruit intake completed the course held from 5th January 2026 to 10th April 2026. Officiating the closing was Colonel Mohammad Fakaruddin Zuraidie bin Haji Ramli, the RBLF Field Commander.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by a course review from Lieutenant Mohammad Noor Ridzwan bin Ahad, the Course Conducting Officer. The event then continued with the presentation of unit patches and certificates by respective Commanding Officers, as well as the awards presentation to outstanding participants delivered by the Field Commander. The closing concluded with remarks by the Field Commander and the recitation of the RBLF pledge by the course participants.
AIC is a comprehensive training program that further strengthens basic infantry skills by focusing on advanced tactical operations, leadership development, and enhancing professionalism and teamwork for the overall operational readiness.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS LANJUTAN INFANTRI
PERKHEMAHAN LUMUT, Juma'at, 10 April 2026 –Majlis Penutup bagi Kursus Lanjutan Infantri telah diadakan di Dewan Ar-Din, Batalion Ketiga Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (3Bn TDDB) di Perkhemahan Lumut. Seramai 104 anggota dari Rekrut Lelaki Pengambilan ke-178 telah berjaya menamatkan kursus yang berlangsung dari 5 Januari 2026 hingga 10 April 2026. Hadir bagi menyempurnakan acara penutupp tersebut ialah Kolonel Mohammad Fakaruddin Zuraidie bin Haji Ramli, Pemerintah Medan TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah diikuti dengan ulasan kursus oleh Leftenan Mohammad Noor Ridzwan bin Ahad selaku Pegawai Pengendali kursus. Acara kemudian diteruskan dengan penyampaian lencana unit dan sijil oleh Pegawai Pemerintah masing-masing, dan disusuli dengan penyampaian anugerah kepada peserta cemerlang yang disampaikan oleh Pemerintah Medan. Acara diakhiri dengan ucapan oleh Pemerintah Medan dan lafaz ikrar TDDB oleh para peserta kursus.
Kursus Lanjutan Infantri adalah program latihan komprehensif bagi tujuan mengukuhkan lagi kemahiran asas infantri dengan memberi tumpuan kepada operasi taktikal darat, pembangunan kepimpinan, serta meningkatkan profesionalisme dan kerjasama berpasukan untuk kesiapsiagaan operasi secara keseluruhan.
