BERAKAS GARRISON, Sunday, 12th April 2026 – In conjunction with the 64th Anniversary of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), the RBLF organised a Family Day event held at the Mini Stadium, Berakas Garrison. Present at the event was Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Commander of the RBLF, and his spouse and family. Also in attendance were Senior Officers, Officers and personnel from all RBLF sub-units alongside their respective families.
The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, led by Lieutenant Colonel Ariffin bin Amit @ Hamid, followed by a prize presentation to 53 children of RBLF officers and personnel who have achieved excellent academic results in General Certificate of Education (GCE) 'A' Level, GCE 'O' Level, Brunei Religious Education Certificate (SPUB), Brunei Religious Education Higher Certificate (SPTUB), Sijil Sekolah-Sekolah Rendah Ugama (SSSRU) and Penilaian Sekolah Rendah (PSR) respectively.
The event was then further enlivened with Hari Raya celebration, providing an opportunity for RBLF personnel and their families to gather in an atmosphere of harmony, gratitude and festivity. Various activities were organised, including a food bazaar, car showcase, fun activities, horse riding, a lucky draw, a Best Booth and Best award.
The Family Day is aimed to strengthen the bonds among RBLF members and their families, as well as to express appreciation for the continuous support and sacrifices made by their loved ones.
ACARA HARI KELUARGA SEMPENA SAMBUTAN HARI ULANG TAHUN TDDB KE 64
BERAKAS GARISON, Ahad, 12 April 2026 – Sempena Sambutan Ulang Tahun Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) ke-64, TDDB telah menganjurkan Hari Keluarga yang berlangsung di Mini Stadium Berakas Garison. Turut hadir pada acara tersebut ialah Brigedier Jeneral Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Pemerintah TDDB dan isteri serta keluarga. Turut hadir ialah Pegawai-pegawai Kanan, Pegawai-pegawai dan anggota dari semua sub-sub unit TDDB bersama keluarga masing-masing..
Acara dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah yang dipimpin oleh Leftenan Kolonel Ariffin bin Amit @ Hamid disusuli dengan sesi penyampaian hadiah kepada 53 anak-anak Pegawai dan anggota TDDB yang mendapat keputusan cemerlang dalam peperiksaan General Certificate of Education (GCE) 'A' Level, GCE 'O' Level, Sijil Pelajaran Ugama Brunei (SPUB), Sijil Pelajaran Tinggi Ugama Brunei (SPTUB), Sijil Sekolah-Sekolah Rendah Ugama (SSSRU) dan Penilaian Sekolah Rendah (PSR).
Acara turut dimeriahkan lagi dengan sambutan Hari Raya,untuk memberi peluang kepada warga TDDB dan keluarga mereka berkumpul dalam suasana harmoni, kesyukuran dan kemeriahan. Pelbagai aktiviti telah diadakan antaranya bazar makanan, pameran kereta, menunggang kuda, cabutan bertuah, penyampaian hadiah Booth Terbaik dan Pakaian Terbaik.
Hari Keluarga ini adalah bertujuan untuk mengeratkan hubungan silaturahim antara warga TDDB dan keluarga mereka, serta sebagai tanda penghargaan TDDB atas sokongan dan pengorbanan ahli-ahli keluarga TDDB.
