PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 6th February 2026 – The Engineer Regiment, Royal Brunei Land Forces (Engr Regt RBLF) held a change of command ceremony for its Regiment Sergeant Major (RSM) at the First Squadron Parade Square in Penanjong Garrison. The ceremony marked the official handover from the outgoing RSM, First Warrant Officer Abdul Rashid bin Haji Lamat, to the newly appointed RSM, First Warrant Officer Mohd Shah Ifol bin Mohammad Salleh.
The ceremony commenced with a parade inspection led by Second Warrant Officer Pg Md Norfadillah bin Pg Haji Damit, Squadron Sergeant Major of the First Squadron Engr Regt, followed by the recital of Surah Al-Fatihah and a farewell speech by the outgoing RSM. The ceremony then continued with the signing of the Handing Over Certificate, symbolising the official handover of leadership, and an address by the newly appointed RSM, before concluding with the recitation of Doa.
REJIMEN JURUTERA MENGALU-ALUKAN SARJAN MEJAR REJIMEN BARU
PENANJONG GARISON, Jumaat, 06 Februari 2026 – Rejimen Jurutera Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (RJ TDDB) telah mengadakan Upacara Serah Terima Tugas bagi Sarjan Mejar Rejimen (SMR) bertempat di di Padang Kawad Skuadron Pertama, Penanjong Garison. Majlis tersebut menandakan penyerahan rasmi daripada SMR yang lama, Pegawai Waran Satu Abdul Rashid bin Haji Lamat, kepada SMR yang baru dilantik, Pegawai Waran Satu Mohd Shah Ifol bin Mohammad Salleh.
Upacara dimulakan dengan pemeriksaan perbarisan yang diketuai oleh Pegawai Waran Dua Pg Md Norfadillah bin Pg Haji Damit , diikuti dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan ucapan perpisahan oleh mantan SMR. Upacara kemudiannya diteruskan dengan menandatangani Sijil Serah Terima Tugas, melambangkan penyerahan rasmi kepimpinan, dan disusuli dengan ucapan daripada SMR yang baru, sebelum diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa.
