LUMUT CAMP, Monday, 15th December 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) Sergeant Major, First Warrant Officer Mohammad Haswandi bin Haji Paun, attended a Leadership Forum with participants of the Senior Non-Commissioned Officers Leadership Course held at the Pipe and Band Platoon Auditorium, Third Battalion (3Bn) RBLF, Lumut Camp. This forum is the first implementation undertaken by course participants as a platform for direct interaction with RBLF Sergeant Major through an open discussion and sharing of views. Also in attendance were First Warrant Officer Haji Hashim bin Haji Awang Besar, Regimental Sergeant Major of the 3Bn RBLF, and First Warrant Officer Mohammad Rizan bin Haji Awang Ramli, Chief Instructor of the Evolution Centre, Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
The forum commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by opening remarks from Sergeant Md Jufri bin Pg Othman, who served as the Forum Chairman. With a theme “Isu Kepimpinan Akibat Perubahan Generasi dalam Organisasi Moden", the forum was moderated by Sergeant Nurshailen Atika binti Abdul Razak, with Sergeant Muhammad Fariz bin Zamil as the second panelist and the RBLF Sergeant Major as the principal panelist.
Throughout the session, discussions centred on leadership challenges stemming from generational diversity, particularly in communication styles, work ethics, technological adoption including the Internet of Things (IoT), and evolving workplace cultures among Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials, Generation Z, and the emerging Generation Alpha. An interactive question-and-answer session further enriched the exchange of perspectives among participants.
At the end of the forum, the RBLF Sergeant Major presented certificates of appreciation to the Chairman, moderator, and panelists in recognition of their contributions. It is hoped that such initiatives will continue as a meaningful platform to enhance leadership development among the RBLF SNCOS.
SARJAN MEJAR TDDB HADIRI FORUM KEPIMPINAN BERSAMA PESERTA KURSUS KEPIMPINAN
PERKHEMAHAN LUMUT, Isnin, 15 Disember 2025 – Sarjan Mejar Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB), Pegawai Waran 1 Mohammad Haswandi bin Haji Paun, telah menghadiri Sesi Forum Kepimpinan bersama peserta Kursus Kepimpinan Pegawai Tidak Bertauliah Kanan bertempat di Auditorium Platun Serunai dan Tambur, Batalion Ketiga TDDB, Perkhemahan Lumut. Forum ini merupakan pelaksanaan kali pertama yang dikendalikan oleh anggota kursus sebagai satu platform interaksi secara langsung bersama Sarjan Mejar TDDB melalui pendekatan perbincangan terbuka dan perkongsian pandangan. Turut hadir ialah Pegawai Waran Haji Hashim bin Haji Awang Besar, Sarjan Mejar Rejimen 3Bn TDDB, dan Pegawai Waran 1 Mohammad Rizan bin Haji Awang Ramli, Ketua Jurulatih Pusat Evolusi, Institut Latihan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei.
Forum dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah, diikuti ucapan pembukaan oleh Sarjan Md Jufri bin Pg Othman selaku Pengerusi Forum. Sepanjang sesi, perbincangan tertumpu kepada cabaran kepimpinan dalam organisasi masa kini, khususnya dari aspek komunikasi antara generasi, etika kerja, penggunaan teknologi seperti Internet of Things (IoT), serta budaya kerja yang melibatkan Baby Boomers, Generasi X, Milenial, Generasi Z, dan Generasi Alpha. Sesi soal jawab interaktif menggalakkan lagi pertukaran perspektif dalam kalangan peserta.
Di akhir forum, Sarjan Mejar TDDB telah menyampaikan sijil penghargaan kepada Pengerusi Forum, Moderator, dan Ahli Panel sebagai penghargaan atas komitmen dan sumbangan mereka. Diharapkan inisiatif seumpama ini dapat diteruskan sebagai platform yang berkesan dalam meningkatkan pembangunan kepimpinan dikalangan PTB-PTB Kanan TDDB.
