BERAKAS GARRISON, Tuesday, 4th November 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) celebrated its 64th Anniversary with a grand parade comprising 1,064 personnel held at the First Battalion RBLF Parade Square, Berakas Garrison. The ceremony was attended by Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Commander of the RBLF, along with the RBLF Board of Executives, Senior Land Forces Officers across the Ministry of Defence, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) and RBLF, as well as officers and personnel.
Upon the arrival of the RBLF Commander, the celebration commenced with the insertion of the parade contingents, followed by the honorary salute commanded by Major Mohammad Khairul Anwar bin Abdul Latif, Staff Officer Grade 2 Planning, RBLF Headquarters. The event proceeded with the inspection of the parade, followed by a speech delivered by the Commander of RBLF. In his remarks, he reiterated the pledge of unwavering loyalty and highest appreciation on behalf of the RBLF to His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam. He then emphasised the importance of appreciating Maqasid Syariah as a guideline in shaping the personality and role of each RBLF personnel. In addition, the RBLF Commander outlined the future planning of the RBLF, in line with the Force 2035 by focusing on three development pillars, namely Human Resources, Capabilities and Organisation. This is to ensure that the RBLF will remain relevant, modern and able to face the current and future operational challenges that are more complex and multi-domain.
The event then continued with a Combat Self-Defence Demonstration from the Royal Guard Regiment (RGrD) RBLF and the presentation of badges. This was followed by the recital of the RBLF pledge, before concluding with the chanting of the RBLF motto, “Semangat Waja", the recitation of Doa Selamat, and a group photo session.
At a separate occasion, the Brunei Land Doctrine Publication (BLDP): Field Command Publication (FCP) – 3 on the Employment of Infantry Battalion was launched in conjunction with the anniversary, held at the Officers' Mess Berakas Garrison. This doctrine encompasses the standard procedures of Heliborne, Motorised and Riverine Manoeuvre, which is to be used as the guiding principle for respective RBLF personnel in carrying out their roles and responsibilities. The celebration then continued with a cake-cutting, Doa and a luncheon session, which were concurrently held at the Warrant Officers, Staff Sergeants and Sergeants' Mess Berakas Garrison.
This year's celebration theme, "Mission-Ready Land Forces", portrays the RBLF's determination to continue to be a highly capable, disciplined, and resilient force that is fully prepared to carry out its missions and address any security challenges at present and in the future.
TDDB MERAIKAN SAMBUTAN HARI ULANG TAHUN KE-64 / PERBARISAN TDDB: SAMBUTAN HARI ULANG TAHUN KE-64
BERAKAS GARISON, Selasa, 4 November 2025 – Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah meraikan Sambutan Hari Ulang Tahun ke-64 dengan upacara perbarisan yang melibatkan seramai 1,064 anggota bertempat di Padang Kawad Batalion Pertama TDDB, Berakas Garison. Acara tersebut dihadiri oleh Brigedier Jeneral Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Pemerintah TDDB bersama-sama Badan Eksekutif TDDB, Pegawai-pegawai Kanan Tentera Darat dari Kementerian Pertahanan, Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) dan TDDB, pegawai-pegawai dan anggota TDDB.
Sejurus ketibaan Pemerintah TDDB, sambutan dimulakan dengan penyusupan masuk kontinjen perbarisan, diikuti dengan tabik hormat daripada kawalan perbarisan yang diketuai oleh Mejar Mohammad Khairul Anwar bin Abdul Latif, Timbalan Pegawai Turus Perancangan, Markas TDDB. Acara kemudiannya diteruskan dengan pemeriksaan perbarisan, diikuti dengan perutusan yang disampaikan oleh Pemerintah TDDB. Dalam ucapannya, beliau menzahirkan lafaz ikrar taat setia yang tidak berbelah bahagi serta setinggi-tinggi menjunjung kasih bagi pihak seluruh warga TDDB ke hadapan majlis Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam. Beliau seterusnya menekankan kepentingan penghayatan Maqasid Syariah sebagai panduan dalam pembentukan syakhsiah dan peranan setiap anggota TDDB. Selain itu juga, Pemerintah TDDB menggariskan perancangan masa hadapan TDDB seiring dengan hala tuju Gagasan Angkatan 2035 dengan memberi tumpuan utama pada tiga teras pembangunan iaitu Sumber Daya Manusia, Keupayaan dan Organisasi. Ianya adalah bertujuan untuk memastikan TDDB akan kekal releven, moden dan mampu menghadapi cabaran operasi semasa dan masa depan yang lebih kompleks dan pelbagai domain.
Acara kemudiannya diteruskan dengan Demonstrasi Bela Diri Tempur oleh anggota Rejimen Pengawal Diraja (RPD) TDDB serta penyampaian lencana. Ini disusuli dengan lafaz ikrar TDDB, sebelum diakhiri dengan laungan moto TDDB “Semangat Waja", bacaan Doa Selamat, dan sesi bergambar ramai.
Pada acara berasingan, Brunei Land Doctrine Publication (BLDP): Field Command Publication (FCP) – 3 on the Employment of Infantry Battalion telah dilancarkan bersempena dengan ulang tahun tersebut yang diadakan di Mes Pegawai Berakas Garison. Doktrin ini merangkumi prosedur tetap Heliborne, Motorised dan Riverine Manoeuvre yang akan digunakan sebagai prinsip panduan bagi anggota TDDB masing-masing dalam melaksanakan peranan dan tanggungjawab mereka. Sambutan kemudian diteruskan dengan sesi memotong kek, Doa dan jamuan tengah hari, yang diadakan secara serentak di Mes Pegawai Waran, Staf Sarjan dan Sarjan Berakas Garison.
Tema sambutan pada tahun ini, "Mission-Ready Land Forces", menggambarkan keazaman TDDB untuk terus kekal sebagai sebuah angkatan yang berkeupayaan tinggi, berdisiplin dan berdaya tahan dalam menghadapi apa jua misi dan cabaran keselamatan masa kini dan akan datang.
