BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 7th March 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) held a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan 1446 Hijrah, simultaneously at all RBLF suraus, including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque, with the main event at Surau Al-Fa'izun, Berakas Garrison. Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Acting Commander RBLF attended the ceremony and were also joined by senior officers, officers and RBLF personnel.
The ceremony began with the recital of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah led by Imam Haji Mohd Anndy bin Saile, the Imam of Surau Al-Fa'izun, followed by the recitation of Al-Quran from the Khatam Al-Quran participants, and Takhtim, Doa Khatam as well as Dikir Marhaban. A religious talk entitled "Achieving the Nation's Aspiration Through the Guidance of Al-Qur'an" by Imam of Surau Al-Fa'izun was also held. The event concluded with Sunat Hajat prayer, Sunat Dhuha prayer and Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
MAJLIS KHATAM AL-QURAN SEMARAKKAN BULAN RAMADHAN
BERAKAS GARISON, Jumaat, 7 Mac 2025 – Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Khatam Al-Quran sempena bulan Ramadhan 1446 Hijrah, secara serentak di surau-surau TDDB termasuk Masjid Pulau Baru-Baru, dengan tumpuan utama di Surau Al-Fa'izun, Berakas Garison. Kolonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Pemangku Pemerintah TDDB telah hadir bagi majlis tersebut dan turut disertai oleh Pegawai-pegawai Kanan, Pegawai-pegawai dan anggota TDDB
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Sayyidul Istighfar dan Surah Al-Fatihah yang dipimpin oleh Imam Haji Mohd Anndy bin Saile, Imam Surau Al-Fa'izun, diikuti dengan bacaan Al-Quran daripada peserta-peserta Khatam Al-Quran, dan bacaan Takhtim, Doa Khatam serta Dikir Marhaban. Ceramah agama bertajuk “Mencapai Cita Negara Berpandukan Al-Quran" yang disampaikan oleh Imam Surau Al-Fa'izun juga turut diadakan. Majlis diakhiri dengan Solat Sunat Hajat berjemaah, Solat Sunat Dhuha dan Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
