STRENGTHENING TIES: ACTING COMMANDER RBLF WELCOMES DEPUTY COMMANDER USINDOPACOM


BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 24 January 2025 – Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) received a courtesy call from Lieutenant General Joshua M. Rudd, Deputy Commander of the United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) held at the RBLF Headquarters, Berakas Garrison.

During the call, both sides reaffirmed the steadfast bilateral defence and military relations between Brunei Darussalam and the United States of America. The Acting Commander also commended the conduct of Exercise PAHLAWAN WARRIOR between RBLF and the U.S. Army Pacific in June 2024 as well as the U.S. participation in Regional Jungle Warfare Symposium 2024, co-hosted by the RBLF and the British Forces Brunei. Both sides also had the opportunity to discuss on various avenues for future cooperation and hopes that the bilateral relations will continue to grow in the years ahead.

MEMPERKUKUH HUBUNGAN: PEMANGKU PEMERINTAH TDDB TERIMA KUNJUNGAN HORMAT TIMBALAN PEMERINTAH MARKAS INDO-PASIFIK AMERIKA SYARIKAT

BERAKAS GARISON, Jumaat, 24 Januari 2025 – Kolonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Pemangku Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah menerima kunjungan hormat daripada Leftenan Jeneral Joshua M. Rudd, Timbalan Pemerintah Markas Indo-Pasifik Amerika Syarikat yang berlangsung di Markas TDDB, Berakas Garison.

Semasa kunjungan tersebut, kedua-dua belah pihak mengesahkan semula hubungan pertahanan dan ketenteraan yang kukuh di antara Negara Brunei Darussalam dan Amerika Syarikat Pemangku Pemerintah juga berpuas hati atas pelaksanaan Eksesais PAHLAWAN WARRIOR di antara TDDB dan Tentera Darat Pasifik Amerika Syarikat, serta penyertaan Amerika Syarikat dalam Simposium Peperangan Hutan Serantau 2024, yang dihoskan bersama oleh TDDB dan Angkatan Tentera British. Kedua-duanya juga berpeluang membincangkan mengenai pelbagai peluang untuk berkerjasama di masa hadapan dan berharap hubungan pertahanan dua hala di antara kedua pihak akan terus berkembang pada tahun-tahun yang akan datang.
