TILAWAH MUSABAQAH AL-QUR'AN IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE 62nd ANNIVERSARY
BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 08th August 2024 – The Tilawah Musabaqah Al-Quran competition in conjunction with the 62nd Anniversary of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), was held at Surau Al-Fa'izun, Berakas Garrison. Present as the Guest of Honour was Brigadier General Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Commander of RBLF and were also joined by the Deputy Commander of RBLF, Senior Officers, Officers and personnel of RBLF.
The competition commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and continued with the recital of the verses of the Al-Quran from six participants as well as recitation by Private Muhammad Zainul Ariffin bin Haji Haminuddin, RBLF Musabaqah Tilawah Al-Qur'an champion in 2022. This was followed by prize presentation to winners and mementos to the judges.
The male category overall champion was won by Lance Corporal Muhammad Hazim bin Sulaiman from the Medical and Health Services RBLF. Meanwhile, the overall champion for the female category was won by Major Nurulaini binti Haji Mohd Zain from the School of Infantry RBLF. The ceremony concluded with the recitation of Doa and a group photo session.
A total of 15 personnel participated in this competition and the champion of each category will take part on the final of Musabaqah Al-Quran at Royal Brunei Armed Forces level.
MAJLIS MUSABAQAH TILAWAH AL-QUR'AN SEMPENA HARI ULANG TAHUN TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI KE-62 TAHUN
BERAKAS GARISON, Khamis, 08 Ogos 2024 – Majlis Musabaqah Tilawah Al-Quran sempena Hari Ulang Tahun ke-62 Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah diadakan bertempat di Surau Al-Fa'izun, Berakas Garison. Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat Majlis ialah Brigedier Jeneral Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Pemerintah TDDB dan turut dihadiri oleh Timbalan Pemerintah TDDB, Pegawai-pegawai Kanan, Pegawai-pegawai dan anggota-anggota TDDB.
Pertandingan dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan diteruskan dengan bacaan ayat-ayat suci Al-Quran dari para peserta serta bacaan Al-Quran oleh Soldadu Muhammad Zainul Ariffin bin Haji Haminuddin, johan Musabaqah Tilawah Al-Qur'an TDDB pada tahun 2022, dan disusuli dengan penyampaian hadiah kepada pemenang-pemenang serta penyampaian cenderahati kepada para hakim.
Johan keseluruhan bagi kategori lelaki telah dimenangi oleh Lans Koperal Muhammad Hazim bin Sulaiman dari Khidmat Perubatan dan Kesihatan TDDB, manakala, johan keseluruhan bagi kategori wanita dimenangi oleh Mejar Nurulaini binti Haji Mohd Zain dari Sekolah Infantri TDDB, Majlis diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa dan sesi bergambar ramai.
Sebanyak 15 orang anggota telah menyertai pertandingan ini dan juara bagi setiap kategori akan mengambil bahagian dalam peringkat akhir Musabaqah Al-Quran di peringkat Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei.
