TUTONG CAMP, Friday, 15th March 2024 – The Closing Ceremony of the Basic Infantry Course Series 3/2023 (BIC 3/2023) was held at the Ar-Rizqi Cookhouse of Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (2Bn RBLF), Tutong Camp. A total of 179 course participants has completed the course which was conducted for 12-weeks, starting from 25th December 2023 to 15th March 2024.
Present as the Guest of Honor was Lieutenant Colonel Erwan bin Hj Ibrahim, Acting Field Commander RBLF. Also present were Major Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Commanding Officer School of Infantry RBLF, invited guest officers, Regiment Sergeant Majors and Course Instructors.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Lance Corporal Muhammad Hifzhan Syazwi bin Hermanti, a representative instructor from the BIC 3/2023 followed by a course review by Major Mohammad Asri bin Haji Awang Ahmad, Course Conducting Officer. The ceremony then proceeded with the presentation of certificates by the Guest of Honour before concluding with a congratulatory address, officially marking the closing of the course. The ceremony then followed by a recitation of RBLF pledge led by one of the course participants, Private Mohammad Lekkal @ Mohammad Iqbal bin Omar Ali and concluded with the recitation of Closing Doa and a group photo session.
This course is a comprehensive training program that covers all aspects of being an infantryman in the RBLF. It includes learning about the duties, roles, and responsibilities of an infantryman, adapting to life in the Battalion, enhancing basic soldiering skills and developing character and professionalism.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS ASAS INFANTRI SIRI 3/2023
PERKHEMAHAN TUTONG, Jumaat, 15 Mac 2024 – Majlis Penutup Kursus Asas Infantri Siri 3/2023 telah diadakan di Dewan Masak Ar-Rizqi Batalion Kedua Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei, Perkhemahan Tutong. Seramai 179 anggota telah menamatkan kursus yang telah dijalankan selama 12 minggu, bermula dari 25 Disember 2023 hingga 15 Mac 2024.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Leftenan Kolonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, Pemangku Pemerintah Medan, Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei. Turut hadir bagi acara tersebut ialah Mejar Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Pegawai Pemerintah Sekolah Infantri TDDB, pegawai-pegawai jemputan, Sarjan Mejar – Sarjan Mejar Rejimen serta para Jurulatih Kursus.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah yang dibacakan oleh Lans Koperal Muhammad Hifzhan Syazwi bin Hermanti, salah seorang Jurulatih Kursus Asas Infantri Siri 3/2023, diikuti dengan penyampaian taklimat ulasan kursus oleh Mejar Mohammad Asri bin Haji Awang Ahmad, Pegawai Pengendali Kursus. Ini diikuti dengan penyampaian sijil kepada peserta-peserta kursus oleh Tetamu Kehormat serta ucapan penutup kursus. Majlis diteruskan dengan bacaan ikrar TDDB yang diketuai oleh wakil peserta kursus, Soldadu Mohammad Lekkal @ Mohammad Iqbal bin Omar Ali, dan diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa Penutup serta sesi bergambar ramai.
Objektif kursus ini merupakan program latihan komprehensif yang merangkumi pelbagai aspek selaku anggota infantri dalam TDDB seperti penerangan lanjut akan tugas, peranan dan tanggungjawab, penyesuaian diri di batalion, meningkatkan kemahiran asas tentera serta memantapkan perwatakan dan profesionalisme anggota.
