7TH ANNUAL NETWORK OF ASEAN CBR DEFENCE EXPERTS MEETING
KUALA LUMPUR, Wednesday, 10th December 2025 – Major Haji Muhammad Khairi bin Haji Abdul Latif, Officer Commanding of the 2nd Squadron, Chemical Biological Radiological Explosive (CBRE) Engineer Regiment, Royal Brunei Land Forces (2Sqn CBRE Engr Regt RBLF) and Captain Muhammad Athhar Ridzwan bin Haji Muhammad Alamizan, Operation Officer 2Sqn CBRE Engr Regt, had attended the 7th Annual Meeting of the Network of ASEAN Chemical Biological and Radiological (ASEAN CBR) Defence Experts, held from 9th to 10th December 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Wednesday, 10th December 2025 – The First Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), received a visit from 58 members of the Takmir, Muslimah, and Youths Brunei International Airport Surau at Berakas Garrison.
RBLF OFFICER PARTICIPATES IN REGIONAL HIGH-LEVEL DIALOGUE
JAKARTA, Tuesday, 9th December 2025 – Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ghazali bin Haji Hussin, Commanding Officer of the Engineer Regiment Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), represented Brunei Darussalam at the Regional High-Level Dialogue on Enhancing Regional Cooperation and Resource Mobilisation in Mine/Explosive Remnants of War Action, in Jakarta, Republic of Indonesia. The event was organised by the ASEAN Regional Mine Action Centre (ARMAC) with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China.
PRESENTATION OF THE RBAF WELFARE FUND VOUCHERS
BERAKAS GARRISON, Monday, 8th December 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) presented the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Welfare Fund vouchers to RBLF orphans and selected RBLF personnel in conjunction with the upcoming 2026 school year. A total of 45 orphans from 27 families from the RBLF units, including RBLF Headquarters, Field Headquarters, Combat Service Support and Dental Services, received the vouchers. In addition, 319 selected RBLF personnel will also receive assistance through the RBAF Welfare Fund initiative.
1BN RBLF PARTICIPATES IN ‘GOTONG ROYONG’ CAMPAIGN
LAMBAK KANAN, Sunday, 07 December 2025 – The First Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (1Bn RBLF) participated in the ‘Gotong Royong’ campaign held at the Perpindahan Lambak Kanan Mosque, Mukim Berakas ‘B’, today.
2BN RBLF PARTICIPATES IN ‘KANAKAN JATI’ FESTIVAL
TUTONG, Sunday, 7th December 2025 – Twenty-five personnel from the Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (2Bn RBLF) participated in the ‘Kanakan Jati’ Festival organised by the Telisai Mukim Consultative Council together with the Village Consultative Councils under Mukim Telisai.
RBLF WON THE RBAF 64TH ANNIVERSARY INTER-SERVICES GOLF TOURNAMENT 2025
BERAKAS GARRISON, Saturday, 6th December 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) emerged as the overall champion in the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Inter-Services Golf Tournament 2025 in conjunction with the RBAF 64th Anniversary. The tournament was held at the RBAF Golf Club, Berakas Garrison from 5th to 6th December 2025. Also participating in the tournament were the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), and the combined Ministry of Defence team made up of officers and personnel from the Ministry of Defence, Joint Force Headquarters RBAF, Defence Academy RBAF and the Training Institute RBAF.
RBLF PERSONNEL COMPLETE THE INTERNATIONAL AMMUNITION TECHNICIAN COURSE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM
UNITED KINGDOM, Friday, 05th December 2025 – Lieutenant Abdul Mu’az bin Haji Zaidin from the Royal Guards Regiment, Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), and Corporal Mohammed Mahdi bin Haji Majdi from the Ammunition Group, Logistics Depot, Combat Service Support, RBLF, had successfully completed the International Ammunition Technician Course (IATC), conducted from 05th July 2025 until 05th December 2025 in Oxfordshire, United Kingdom. The closing event was held at the Comera-Ordnance Munition Explosives (OME) Room, Heyford Park Innovation Centre, attended by Commander Ali Mustafa bin Haji Umar, RBN, Defence Adviser of Brunei Darussalam to the United Kingdom, along with Mr. Will Cogley, Managing Director of Comera Group, and instructors from Comera-OME.
24 RBLF OFFICERS COMPLETE JUNIOR OFFICERS DEVELOPMENT COURSE 02/2025
TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 5th December 2025 – A total of 24 Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) officers have successfully completed the Junior Officers Development Course (JODC) 02/2025, with a closing event held at the Auditorium, Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF). The six-week programme, conducted from 27th October to 5th December 2025, was participated by 44 officers from across the RBAF unit, including 11 from the Royal Brunei Navy and nine from the Royal Brunei Air Force.
RBLF SNCOS REGIMENTAL DINNER NIGHT IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE RBLF 64TH ANNIVERSARY
BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 05th December 2025 – The Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) held a Regimental Dinner Night in conjunction with the 64th anniversary of the RBLF at the Warrant Officers, Staff Sergeants and Sergeants’ Mess, Berakas Garrison. In attendance were First Warrant Officer Mohammad Haswandi bin Haji Paun, Land Force Sergeant Major (LFSM), and SNCOs from all RBLF sub-units.
162 PERSONNEL COMPLETE ADVANCED INFANTRY COURSE
TUTONG CAMP, Friday, 5th December 2025 – A total of 162 Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) personnel from the 177th recruit intake have completed the Advanced Infantry Course, with a closing event held at Ar-Rizqi Hall, Second Battalion, Royal Brunei Land Forces (2Bn RBLF) in Tutong Camp. In attendance to officiate the closing was Lieutenant Colonel Haji Mohammed Airul Wizam bin Haji Ahmad, Acting Field Commander of the RBLF, along with Commanding Officers and Acting Commanding Officers, Regimental Sergeant Majors, and course instructors.
RBLF PARTICIPATED IN THE 21ST ADMM-PLUS EWG ON PKO
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Thursday, 4th December 2025 –The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) officers participated in the 21st ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting Plus Experts’ Working Group on Peacekeeping Operations (ADMM-Plus EWG on PKO) held at the Rizqun International Hotel, Gadong. The meeting was co-chaired by Lieutenant Colonel Pengiran Aeddie Masjaffrie bin Pengiran Haji Md Ja’afar, representing Brunei Darussalam, and Senior Colonel Man Guangzhi, representing the People’s Republic of China.
FIELD HEADQUARTERS HELD CEMETERY CLEANING CAMPAIGN
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Thursday, 4th December 2025 – In conjunction with the 64th Anniversary of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) and the 2nd Anniversary of the Field Headquarters RBLF, the sub-units of Field Headquarters held a cleaning campaign simultaneously at several Muslim cemeteries, which include the Jame’ Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Muslim Cemetery, Seri Pimping Muslim Cemetery, Datu Umpong Muslim Cemetery, Kampong Batong Muslim Cemetery, Bukit Berangan Muslim Cemetery, Kampong Lumapas Muslim Cemetery, Sengkarai Muslim Cemetery, and An-Naem Muslim Cemetery in Anduki.
EPC XMB 28/2025 AND XRB 25/2025
BERAKAS GARRISON, Wednesday, 3rd December 2025 – The Exercise Planning Conference (EPC) for Exercise MAJU BERSAMA (XMB) 28/2025 between the First Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (1Bn RBLF) and the First Battalion Singapore Infantry Regiment (1SIR) was successfully conducted at the Officers’ Mess, Berakas Garrison. The EPC was co-chaired by Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ghazali bin Haji Hussin, Acting Field Chief of Staff, RBLF, and Lieutenant Colonel Ng Han Siong Derrick, Brigade Operation Officer 1SIR. Meanwhile, the EPC for Exercise RINTIS BERSAMA (XRB) 25/2025 was held on a separate occasion at the Engineer Regiment (Engr Regt) Headquarters in Penanjong Garrison, led by Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ghazali, who is also the Commanding Officer of the RBLF Engr Regt, and Major William Kuek Wei Liang, Staff Officer Operations (S3), 38th Singapore Combat Engineers (38 SCE).
RBLF COMMANDER SESSION WITH ADVANCED INFANTRY COURSE 8/2025
TUTONG CAMP, Tuesday, 2nd December 2025 – Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), held a session with participants of the Advanced Infantry Course Series 8/2025 at Ar-Rizqi Hall, Second Battalion RBLF (2Bn RBLF). Also present were Lieutenant Colonel Haji Mohammed Airul Wizam bin Haji Ahmad, Acting Field Commander of the RBLF, Commanding Officers, Officers and RBLF personnel.
