MINISTRY OF DEFENCE AND RBAF HELD STUDY DAY 2023 AND PRIZE PRESENTATION FOR THE RBAF ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION 2021/2022
TANAH JAMBU, Thursday, 7 December 2023 – The Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) jointly organised a Study Day and Prize Presentation ceremony for the RBAF Essay Writing Competition 2021/2022, held today at the Defence Academy RBAF.
SECOND BATTALION ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE HELD AN EXHIBITION IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE SCHOOL HOLIDAY
TUTONG CAMP, Wednesday, 6 December 2023 – The Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (2Bn RBLF) held a military exhibition in conjunction with the final term of the school holidays at the Obstacle Course Area and the field near the Warrant Officers’, Staff Sergeants’, and Sergeants’ Mess, Tutong Camp. The visitors were from the families of 2Bn RBLF personnel which includes 39 children.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Wednesday, 06 December 2023 - Brigadier General Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) received a courtesy call today from Captain (Navy) Hugues Canuel, and Colonel Stewart Taylor, Canadian Defence Attache accredited to Brunei Darussalam.
SCOUTS ASSOCIATION VISITS SECOND BATTALION ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE
TUTONG CAMP, Tuesday, 5 December 2023 – Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (2Bn RBLF) held an exhibition in collaboration with Royal Brunei Navy and Royal Brunei Air Force at the Obstacle Course Area and at the field near the Warrant Officers’, Staff Sergeants’, and Sergeant’s Mess, Tutong Camp. A total of 869 scouts participated in the visit, comprising of the Scouts Association from Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia, Republic of Indonesia, Republic of Singapore and Thailand.
SCHOOL OF INFANTRY RBLF HELD CLOSING CEREMONY OF SECTION COMMANDER COURSE 2023
PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 1 December 2023 – The School of Infantry Royal Brunei Land Force (SOI RBLF) held the Closing Ceremony of the Section Commander Course 2023 today at the Parade Square, SOI RBLF, Penanjong Garrison. A total of 46 participants have successfully completed the course which was conducted from 24 September 2023 to 1 December 2023.

TUTONG, Thursday, 30 November 2023 – Personnel from Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (2Bn RBLF) has enlivened several mosques in the Tutong District with religious activities held every Thursday night throughout the month of November 2023.
SECOND BATTALION RBLF PARTICIPATES IN KAMPONG SENGKARAI ANNUAL CLEANING CAMPAIGN ORGANISED BY THE PRIME MINISTER’S OFFICE
TUTONG, Thursday, 30 November 2023 – Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (2Bn RBLF) today participated in a year-round cleaning campaign activity held in Kampung Sengkarai, Tutong District. The campaign was organised by the Prime Minister’s Office in collaboration with the Village Consultative Council, Kampung Sengkarai. A total of 20 personnel from 2Bn RBLF participated in the cleaning campaign.
CERTIFICATE PRESENTATION CEREMONY OF THE BASIC CONSTRUCTION COURSES IBTE
PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 30 November 2023 – The certificate presentation ceremony of the Basic Construction Courses, Institute of Brunei Technical Education’s (IBTE) was held today at the Field Headquarters Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) Cookhouse, Penanjong Garrison. A total of 23 participants from Combat Engineering Squadron have successfully completed the course which was conducted from 16 July 2023 to 27 July 2023, and continued from 23 September 2023 to 27 September 2023 during the IBTE semester break to cater to the Combat Engineer Squadron RBLF course requirements.
‘QUIT SMOKING’ AWARENESS TALK FOR ROYAL GUARDS REGIMENT RBLF PERSONNEL
SUNGAI AKAR CAMP, Tuesday, 28 November 2023 – The Royal Guards Regiment Royal Brunei Land Force (RGdR RBLF) held a ‘Quit Smoking’ Awareness Talk which was delivered by Lieutenant Hajah Dayang Norsabarrina binti Haji Md Daud from Medical Service RBLF, held at RGdR RBLF Cookhouse, Sungai Akar Camp.
TEAMBUILDING ACTIVITY FOR PERSONNEL OF ‘E’ COMPANY, FIRST BATTALION ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE
BANGAR CAMP, Tuesday, 28 November 2023 – ‘E’ Company, First Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (‘E’ Coy 1Bn RBLF) in collaboration with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Counselling Centre has initiated efforts to enhance collaboration among personnel through teambuilding activities conducted at Bangar Camp, Temburong District. A total of 35 personnel from ‘E’ Coy, 1Bn RBLF took part in the event.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Tuesday, 28 November 2023 – The Pace Stick Drill competition for the Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) of First Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (1Bn RBLF) was held today in conjunction with the RBLF 62nd Anniversary at the 1Bn RBLF Parade Square, Berakas Garrison.
CLOSING CEREMONY OF THE SELECTION AND ESSENTIAL COURSE OF THE CHEMICAL, BIOLOGICAL, RADIOLOGICAL AND EXPLOSIVES DEFENCE UNIT, ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE
PENANJONG GARRISON, Monday, 27 November 2023 – The Closing Ceremony of the Selection Course and 8th Essential Course of the Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Explosives Defence Unit, Royal Brunei Land Force Defence Unit (CBRE Def Unit, RBLF) took place today at the CBRE Building, Penanjong Garrison. A total of eight personnel participated in the course which took place from 7 August 2023 to 24 November 2023.
