PENANJONG GARRISON, Monday, 29th January 2024 – The opening ceremony of Exercise RINTIS BERSAMA Series 26/2023 took place today at the Parade Square of the Combat Engineer Squadron Royal Brunei Land Force (CES RBLF). The exercise is scheduled to take place from 29th January 2024 to 1st February 2024 which involves 14 personnel from CES RBLF, and Chemical Biological Radiological Explosive Defence Unit RBLF (CBRE Def Unit RBLF) as well as 14 personnel from the 38th Battalion Singapore Combat Engineer (38 SCE).
The ceremony was jointly officiated by Major Abdul Rahim bin Haji Adris, Officer Commanding of CBRE Def Unit RBLF and Captain Chng Kai Shou, Officer Commanding, Armoured Engineer Company ‘A’ 38 SCE (AEC ‘A’ 38 SCE) as the Guests of Honour. The ceremony commenced with a parade inspection, followed by an opening address delivered by Major Abdul Rahim, officially inaugurating the exercise.
Exercise RINTIS BERSAMA Series 26/2023 adopts the concept of Subject Matter Expert Exchange (SMEE) aiming to enhance skills and knowledge through the mutual familiarisation of equipment and roles between the participating units. Additionally, the exercise seeks to further enhance the military bilateral relationship between the countries.
UPACARA PEMBUKAAN EKSESAIS RINTIS BERSAMA SIRI 26/2023
PENANJONG GARISON, Isnin, 29 Januari 2024 – Upacara Pembukaan Eksesais RINTIS BERSAMA Siri 26/2023 telah berlangsung pada hari ini di Padang Kawad, Skuadron Jurutera Tempur Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (SJT TDDB). Eksesais ini akan berlangsung bermula 29 Januari 2024 hingga 1 Februari 2024 yang melibatkan seramai 14 anggota SJT TDDB dan Unit Pertahanan Kimia, Biologi, Radiologi dan Letupan (Unit Pthn KBRL) TDDB serta 14 anggota 38th Battalion Singapore Combat Engineer (38 SCE).
Upacara pembukaan telah dirasmikan bersama oleh Mejar Abdul Rahim bin Haji Adris, Pegawai Memerintah Unit Pthn KBRL TDDB, dan Kapten Chng Kai Shou, Officer Commanding, Armoured Engineer Company A 38 SCE (AEC ‘A’ 38 SCE) selaku Tetamu Kehormat. Majlis dimulakan dengan pemeriksaan perbarisan, diikuti dengan ucapan perasmian pembukaan eksesais yang disampaikan oleh Mejar Abdul Rahim.
Eksesais RINTIS BERSAMA Siri 26/2023 berkonsepkan Subject Matter Expert Exchange (SMEE) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemahiran dan pengetahuan dalam memperkenalkan peralatan dan peranan kedua – dua unit. Eksesais ini juga mampu memperkukuhkan lagi hubungan ketenteraan yang telah sekian lama terjalin antara kedua negara.
