PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 25th June 2026 – The closing event for the Small Arms Instructor Course was held today at the Combined Arms Training Centre, Royal Brunei Land Forces (CATC RBLF) Parade Square, Penanjong Garrison. A total of 36 participants had attended the course, comprising 29 personnel from the RBLF, four from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and three from the Ministry of Defence. The course was conducted from 02nd April 2026 to 25th June 2026. Present to officiate the closing was Major Nor Mohammad Saufi@Nikmat bin Ahmad, Acting Officer Commanding of School of Infantry (SOI), CATC RBLF.
The event commenced with Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by the course review delivered by Corporal Mohd Shahmuddin bin Rahiman, instructor from SOI CATC RBLF, and the presentation of badges, certificates and excellence awards. The Best Practical Award was given to Corporal Muhammad Syuaib bin Ahmad from the Royal Guard Regiment RBLF, Best Theory Award went to Lance Corporal Shah Al Hafiz bin Sunardeey from Third Battalion (3Bn) RBLF, and the Best Overall Award to Lance Corporal Mohammad Azizan bin Mohammad Jefry, also from the 3Bn RBLF.
The course is aimed to equip participants with comprehensive knowledge in handling light weapons through both theoretical instruction and practical exercises, ensuring they can operate and manage these weapons safely and effectively.
KURSUS JURULATIH SENJATA RINGAN BERAKHIR
PENANJONG GARISON, Khamis, 25 Jun 2026 – Acara penutup bagi Kursus Jurulatih Senjata Ringan telah diadakan pada hari ini di Padang Kawad, Pusat Latihan Gabungan Tempur, Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (PULGAT TDDB), Penanjong Garison. Seramai 36 anggota telah menghadiri kursus tersebut yang terdiri daripada 29 anggota TDDB, empat daripada Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei (TLDB) dan tiga daripada Kementerian Pertahanan. Kursus ini telah dijalankan bermula dari 02 April 2026 hingga 25 Jun 2026. Hadir bagi menyempurnakan acara penutup ialah Mejar Nor Mohammad Saufi@nikmat bin Ahmad, Pemangku Pegawai Memerintah Sekolah Infantri (SI), PULGAT TDDB.
Acara dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah, diikuti dengan penyampaian ulasan kursus daripada Korporal Mohammad Shahmuddin bin Rahiman, Jurulatih daripada Cawangan Latihan Senjata Ringan dan Bantuan, SI PULGAT TDDB, dan disusuli dengan penyampaian lencana, sijil dan anugerah cemerlang. Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Amali telah diberikan kepada Korporal Muhammad Syuaib bin Ahmad dari Rejimen Pengawal Diraja TDDB, Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Teori disandang oleh Lans Korporal Shah Al Hafiz bin Sunardeey dari Batalion Ketiga (3Bn) TDDB, dan Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Keseluruhan dianugerahkan kepada Lans Korporal Mohammad Azizan bin Mohammad Jefry, juga dari 3Bn TDDB.
Kursus ini adalah bertujuan untuk melengkapkan peserta dengan pengetahuan yang komprehensif dalam mengendalikan senjata ringan melalui teori dan latihan praktikal untuk memastikan mereka berkebolehan mengendalikan dan mengurus senjata dengan selamat dan berkesan.
