PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 4th September 2025 – The closing event of the Intermediate Combat Engineer Course 2025 was held today at the Engineer Regiment Headquarters, Royal Brunei Land Forces (Engr Regt RBLF), Penanjong Garrison. A total of 19 participants comprising the Engr Regt as well as Assault Pioneers from the First and Third Battalion RBLF attended the 15-week course, which took place from 19th May to 3rd September 2025.
Major Haji Abdul Rahim bin Haji Adris, the Deputy Commanding Officer of the Engr Regt RBLF, officiated the event along with officers and personnel of the regiment. The event began with a recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Private Abd Hassanuddin bin Haji Hassan from First Squadron (Field), Engr Regt. This was followed by a course review presented by Staff Sergeant Md Radzzuan bin Md Norshasmin, Quartermaster Senior Instructor (QMSI), Basic Engineer Wing, School of Engineering Engr Regt RBLF, and continued with the presentation of certificates to all course participants. The Best Overall Award and Theory Award have been presented to Private Adey Nazrin bin Azman from First Squadron (Field), Engr Regt, while Private Mohd Faizul Faiz bin Anuar, also from the First Squadron (Field), received the Best Practical Award.
This course aims to enhance the technical skills, tactical proficiency and operational readiness of combat engineers within the RBLF. Through intensive training, the course also fosters professionalism, teamwork, and discipline, ensuring that engineers are well-prepared to meet the demands of modern military operations and contribute significantly to the overall operational readiness of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
ACARA PENUTUP KURSUS PERTENGAHAN JURUTERA TEMPUR SESI 2025
PENANJONG GARISON, Khamis, 4 September 2025 – Acara penutup bagi Kursus Pertengahan Jurutera Tempur Sesi 2025 telah diadakan di Markas Rejimen Jurutera, Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (RJ TDDB), Penanjong Garison. Seramai 19 peserta yang terdiri daripada anggota RJ TDDB dan anggota Platun Rintis Serang dari Batalion Pertama dan Batalion Ketiga TDDB telah menghadiri kursus selama 15 minggu, yang bermula daripada 19 Mei hingga 3 September 2025.
Mejar Haji Abdul Rahim bin Haji Adris, Timbalan Pegawai Pemerintah RJ TDDB telah hadir bagi menyempurnakan acara tersebut dan disertai oleh pegawai-pegawai, dan anggota RJ TDDB. Acara dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah yang dipimpin oleh Soldadu Abd Hassanuddin bin Haji Hassan dari Skuadron Pertama (Medan), RJ TDDB. Acara diteruskan dengan ulasan kursus yang disampaikan oleh Staf Sarjan Md Radzzuan bin Md Norhasmin, Quartermaster Senior Instructor (QMSI), Cawangan Jurutera Asas, Sekolah Jurutera, RJ TDDB, diikuti dengan penyampaian sijil. Anugerah Terbaik Keseluruhan dan Terbaik Teori diberikan kepada Soldadu Adey Nazrin bin Azman dari Skuadron Pertama (Medan), RJ TDDB, manakala Anugerah Amali Terbaik disandang oleh Soldadu Mohd Faizul Faiz bin Anuar juga dari Skuadron Pertama (Medan).
Kursus ini adalah bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemahiran teknikal, kecekapan taktikal dan kesediaan operasi jurutera tempur dalam TDDB. Melalui latihan yang intensif, kursus ini juga memupuk profesionalisme, disiplin dan kerjasama berpasukan dalam memastikan jurutera bersedia memenuhi keperluan operasi ketenteraan moden dan menyumbang secara signifikan kepada kesiapsiagaan operasi Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei.
