BOLKIAH GARRISON, Monday, 20 January 2025 – A total of 27 participants had completed the nine-week program of Combat Medic Course (CMC) 02/2024 with a closing event held at Ibnu Sina Lecture Hall, Medical Services, Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), Bolkiah Garrison recently. The event was attended by Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Ummi Suzeyanna binti Haji Johari, Chief Medical Services RBLF, along with senior officers, instructors and representatives from the RBLF, Royal Brunei Navy, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), Special Forces Regiment Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) and the Prisons Department.
The closing commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by the presentation of certificates, badges as well as awards for different categories. The Overall Best Student was awarded to Female Police Constable, Nurfitri Syafiqah binti Jefferey Heng from the RBPF, the Best Student Award in Theory went to Lance Corporal (U) Md Rafiuddin Al-Islam bin Rosli from the RBAirF, while the Best Student Award in Practical was presented to Private Haziq Danish bin Abdur Rahman from the Medical Services RBLF.
Throughout the course, participants gained critical clinical skills and knowledge required for supporting military exercises and operations including Basic Life Support, Basic Casualty Assessment (CASEVAC) and Triage. Participants also underwent practical exercise in Casualty Evacuation, where they were tested to demonstrate their skills and knowledge under challenging physical and mental conditions, preparing them to serve as Combat Medics in various scenarios during the battlefield.

BOLKIAH GARISON, Isnin, 20 Januari 2025 – Seramai 27 peserta telah mengikuti program Kursus Kombat Medik 02/2024 selama sembilan minggu dengan acara penutup telah diadakan di Dewan Kuliah Ibnu Sina, Khidmat Perubatan, Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB), Bolkiah Garison, baru-baru ini. Acara tersebut telah dihadiri oleh Leftenan Kolonel Dr. Ummi Suzeyanna binti Haji Johari, Ketua Khidmat Perubatan dan Kesihatan TDDB, bersama pegawai-pegawai kanan, jurulatih-jurulatih dan wakil dari TDDB, Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei, Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB), Rejimen Pasukan Khas Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei, Pasukan Polis Diraja Brunei (PPDB) dan Jabatan Penjara.
Acara penutup tersebut dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah, diikuti dengan penyampaian sijil, lencana serta anugerah bagi pelbagai kategori. Anugerah Pelajar Terbaik Keseluruhan diterima oleh Konstabel Polis Wanita, Nurfitri Syafiqah binti Jefferey Heng dari PPDB, Anugerah Pelajar Terbaik bagi Teori diberikan kepada Lans Koperal (U) Md Rafiuddin Al-Islam bin Rosli dari TUDB, manakala Anugerah Pelajar Terbaik Praktikal diberikan kepada Soldadu Haziq Danish bin Abdur Rahman dari Khidmat Perubatan dan Kesihatan TDDB.
Kursus ini melengkapkan peserta dengan kemahiran klinikal dan pengetahuan yang diperlukan untuk menyokong latihan dan operasi ketenteraan, termasuk Asas Pertolongan Kecemasan, Penilaian Kecederaan Asas (CASEVAC) dan Triage. Peserta juga turut menjalani latihan praktikal CASEVAC, di mana mereka diuji untuk menunjukkan kemahiran dan pengetahuan mereka di dalam keadaan fizikal dan mental yang mencabar, mempersiapkan mereka untuk berkhidmat sebagai Kombat Medik dalam pelbagai senario di medan perang.
