PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 20th December 2024 – A total of 124 male recruits of the 175th Intake and 46 female recruits of the 59th Intake consisting of 104 Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) male and 26 female recruits had successfully completed the Basic Military Training with a Passing Out Parade Ceremony held at the Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Parade Square, Penanjong Garrison.
Gracing the ceremony as the Guest of Honour was Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, RBN, Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy. The ceremony began with an inspection of the parade by the Guest of Honour, followed by a march-past from the recruits, showcasing the discipline and dedication inculcated throughout their training. During the ceremony, award presentations were also presented to the recruits and instructors who excelled in their respective categories in recognition of their outstanding performances.
Among the award recipients for the RBLF Male Recruits includes Recruit Mohammad Syazwan bin Mohammad Khairulannuar for category Best in Military Skills, Recruit Md Shahezzul bin Sariman for Best in Light Weapon Training and Recruit Muhammad Liliya Wafiuddin bin Abdullah Romie Yurienta for the Best in Physical Training. As for instructors, Corporal Muhamad Far'an bin Hamdani@Lileysurayani from the Third Battalion RBLF received the Best Section Commander Award, and Corporal Mohammad Khairul Azwan bin Abd Hamid from the First Battalion RBLF was awarded as the Best Platoon Sergeant. Meanwhile, the award recipients for the RBLF Female Recruits was Recruit Nursyafiqah Nabilah binti Mohammad Haslan for Best in Physical Training, and Lance Corporal Farah Izzah@ Fatin Faizah binti Samat from the Combat Service Support RBLF received the Best Section Commander Award.
All recruits underwent the Basic Military Training for three months, with three intakes each year, and subsequently continue with induction training for another three months at their respective units prior performing duties in the parent unit.
104 REKRUT LELAKI DAN 26 REKRUT WANITA TDDB TAMAT LATIHAN ASAS KETENTERAAN
PENANJONG GARISON, Jumaat, 20 Disember 2024 – Seramai 124 rekrut lelaki Pengambilan ke-175 dan 46 rekrut wanita Pengambilan ke-59 yang terdiri daripada 104 rekrut lelaki dan 26 rekrut wanita Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah berjaya menamatkan Latihan Asas Ketenteraan dengan Upacara Perbarisan Tamat Latihan yang diadakan di Padang Kawad Institut Latihan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei, Penanjong Garison.
Hadir bagi menyempurnakan majlis tersebut selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Kepten Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, TLDB. Upacara dimulakan dengan pemeriksaan perbarisan oleh Tetamu Kehormat dan diikuti dengan perbarisan berjalan lalu daripada para rekrut, yang mempamerkan disiplin dan dedikasi yang diterapkan sepanjang latihan mereka. Semasa upacara tersebut, penyampaian anugerah turut disampaikan kepada rekrut-rekrut dan jurulatih-jurulatih yang cemerlang dalam kategori masing-masing sebagai pengiktirafan terhadap prestasi mereka.
Antara penerima-penerima anugerah bagi Rekrut Lelaki TDDB termasuk Rekrut Mohammad Syazwan bin Mohammad Khairulannuar bagi kategori Kemahiran Ketenteraan Terbaik, Rekrut Md Shahezzul bin Sariman bagi Latihan Senjata Ringan Terbaik dan Rekrut Muhammad Liliya Wafiuddin bin Abdullah Romie Yurienta bagi Latihan Jasmani Terbaik. Bagi jurulatih pula, Koperal Muhamad Far'an bin Hamdani@Lileysurayani dari Batalion Ketiga TDDB telah menerima Anugerah Ketua Seksyen Terbaik, dan Koperal Mohammad Khairul Azwan bin Abd Hamid dari Batalion Pertama TDDB dianugerahkan sebagai Sarjan Platun Terbaik. Sementara itu, penerima anugerah bagi Rekrut Wanita TDDB ialah Rekrut Nursyafiqah Nabilah binti Mohammad Haslan bagi Anugerah Latihan Jasmani Terbaik, dan Lans Koperal Farah Izzah@ Fatin Faizah binti Samat daripada Khidmat Bantuan Kombat TDDB telah menerima Anugerah Ketua Seksyen Terbaik.
Kesemua rekrut menjalani Latihan Asas Ketenteraan bersama selama tiga bulan dengan sebanyak tiga pengambilan setiap tahun dan seterusnya akan mengikuti latihan induksi selama tiga bulan di unit masing-masing sebelum melaksanakan tugas di unit induk.
