BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 12th July 2024 – The Ministry of Defence held Ilal
Hijrah 1446 celebration and Khatam Al-Qur’an event in conjunction with the Royal
Brunei Armed Forces’ (RBAF) 63rd Anniversary simultaneously at all RBAF Suraus with
the focal event at Surau Al-Hikmah, Training Institute RBAF in Penanjong Garrison. The
Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) also held such event concurrently including at Pulau
Baru-Baru Mosque, with the main event at Surau Al-Fa'izun, Berakas Garrison. Present
at the ceremony were Lieutenant Colonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, RBLF Chief of Staff,
Senior Officers, Officers, and personnel of the RBLF.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Al-Qur’an verses followed by the
Khatam Al-Qur’an event. This was then continued with the celebration of Ilal Hijrah 1446
as the main event, featuring a religious talk entitled “Preserving Mind, Prosperous
Society” delivered by Ustaz Mohammad Nasyith bin Superi, Religious Officer from the
Islamic Da’wah Centre, Ministry of Religious Affairs. The event concluded with
presentation of token of appreciation to the invited speaker, and Doa Peliharakan Sultan
dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.

BERAKAS GARISON, Jumaat, 12 Julai 2024 – Kementerian Pertahanan telah
mengadakan sambutan Ilal Hijrah 1446 dan Majlis Khatam Al-Qur’an sempena
sambutan Hari Ulang Tahun Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) ke-63 secara
serentak di semua surau perkhemahan tentera ABDB dengan tumpuan utama di Surau
Al-Hikmah, Institut Latihan ABDB, Penanjong Garison. Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei
(TDDB) turut mengadakan majlis tersebut secara serentak termasuk di Masjid Pulau
Baru-Baru, dengan Surau Al-Fa'izun, Berakas Garison sebagai tumpuan utama. Hadir
di majlis tersebut ialah Leftenan Kolonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, Ketua Staf TDDB,
Pegawai-pegawai Kanan, Pegawai-pegawai dan anggota-anggota TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an diikuti dengan Majlis Khatam Al-Quran. Acara kemudiannya diteruskan dengan acara utama iaitu sambutan Ilal Hijrah
1446 dengan penyampaian Ceramah Khas bertajuk "Memelihara Akal, Masyarakat
Sejahtera" yang disampaikan oleh Ustaz Mohammad Nasyith bin Superi, Pegawai
Agama dari Pusat Da’wah Islamiah, Kementerian Hal Ehwal Ugama. Majlis diakhiri
dengan penyampaian cenderahati kepada penceramah jemputan dan bacaan doa
Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
