BRUNEI, Friday, 5th April 2024 – Special religious talk was held today in conjunction of the celebration of Nuzul Al-Qur'an 1445 Hijrah at Surau Al-Fai'zun, Berakas Garrison. Present at the ceremony was Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Deputy Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF). Also present were senior officers, officers and personnel of the RBLF. Similiar ceremonies were also held at all suraus within RBLF camps. Present at the event were officers and personnel from respective camps.
The event commenced with the recitation of verses from the Al-Qur'an and continued with a Special Talk delivered by Imam Abdul Raqib bin Haji Awang, Imam of Kampung Sengkarai Tutong Mosque entitled 'Al-Qur'an: My Guide'. He emphasised on opportunity for Muslims to seek forgiveness from Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala during this holy month, as well as the importance of engaging in dzikir and seeking strength from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala for their daily endeavours.
The ceremony ended with the recital of Doa Peliharakan Sultan and Brunei Darussalam and Selawat to the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
SAMBUTAN NUZUL AL-QUR'AN 1445 HIJRAH PERINGKAT TDDB
BRUNEI, Jumaat, 5 April 2024 – Majlis Ceramah Khas sempena sambutan Nuzul Al-Qur'an 1445 Hijrah telah diadakan pada hari ini bertempat di Surau Al-Faizun, Berakas Garison. Hadir di majlis tersebut ialah Kolonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Timbalan Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB). Turut hadir ialah pegawai - pegawai kanan, pegawai - pegawai dan anggota TDDB. Majlis yang sama turut diadakan secara serentak di semua surau perkhemahan TDDB dengan dihadiri oleh para pegawai dan anggota mengikut perkhemahan terlibat.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan ayat-ayat suci Al-Qur'an, diikuti dengan Ceramah Khas yang disampaikan oleh penceramah jemputan Imam Abdul Raqib bin Haji Awang, Imam Masjid Kampung Sengkarai Tutong yang bertajuk 'Al-Qur'an Pedomanku'. Beliau menyentuh akan kerugian umat Islam yang tidak memanfaatkan bulan Ramadhan untuk memohon keampunan dari Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala serta kelebihan zikir dan memohon kekuatan dari Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala dalam apa jua pekerjaan yang dilakukan.
Majlis diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam serta laungan Selawat ke atas Junjungan Besar Nabi Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
