BANYUWANGI, INDONESIA, Thursday, 28 September 2023 – The Opening Ceremony of Exercise LATMA KERIS SATRIA 14/2023 took place at the open ground of the 515th Raider Infantry Battalion/Ugra Tapa Yudha of the Indonesian National Army Headquarters, Banyuwangi, Republic of Indonesia. The ceremony was officiated by Lieutenant Colonel Infantry Aditya Wira Respati, Commandant of Bn Yonif 515/UTY/9/2 KOSTRAD. A total of 25 personnel from Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (2Bn RBLF) are involved in the exercise which will take place from 23 September 2023 until 28 September 2023.
The ceremony commenced with the presentation of key appointments' armbands from Head of the RBLF Contingent and Commander of Bn Yonif 515/UTY/9/2 KOSTRAD to the main representatives of the exercise, followed by the opening speech from the Guest of Honour and concluded with the recital of Doa Selamat.
In his speech, Commandant of Bn Yonif 515/UTY/9/2 KOSTRAD welcomed the arrival of 2Bn RBLF personnel and hoped the exercise will run smoothly and safely. He also emphasised for all personnel involved to do their best during the exercise while all aspects of safety should be maintained.
The exercise is a platform to share experience and knowledge in Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP) as well as learning the capabilities of both Army. This tactical-level training is also expected to make a significant enhancement towards both operational and strategic levels of relation for Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Indonesia while providing opportunities for those involved to interact and foster camaraderie.
UPACARA PEMBUKAAN EKSESAIS LATMA KERIS SATRIA 14/2023
BANYUWANGI, INDONESIA, Khamis, 28 September 2023 – Upacara Pembukaan Eksesais LATMA KERIS SATRIA 14/2023 telah berlangsung di kawasan tanah lapang hadapan Markas Batalyon Infanteri Raider 515/Ugra Tapa Yudha Tentara Nasional Indonesia - Angkatan Darat (TNI-AD), Banyuwangi, Republik Indonesia. Upacara tersebut telah dirasmikan oleh Leftenan Kolonel Infanteri Aditya Wira Respati, Komandan Bn Yonif 515/UTY/9/2 KOSTRAD. Seramai 25 anggota dari Batalion kedua Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (2Bn TDDB) terlibat dalam eksesais ini yang akan berlangsung bermula 23 September 2023 hingga 28 September 2023.
Upacara dimulakan dengan penyerahan toha daripada Ketua Kontinjen TDDB dan Komandan Bn Yonif 515/UTY/9/2 KOSTRAD kepada perwakilan utama eksesais, diikuti dengan ucapan perasmian dari Tetamu Kehormat dan diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa Selamat.
Melalui ucapan Komandan Bn Yonif 515/UTY/9/2 KOSTRAD, beliau mengalu-alukan ketibaan anggota - anggota 2Bn TDDB yang terlibat dan berharap agar eksesais tersebut akan berjalan lancar dan selamat. Beliau juga menekankan agar semua anggota terlibat untuk membuat yang terbaik sepanjang eksesais dan semua aspek keselamatan perlu dikekalkan.
Eksesais ini merupakan platform dalam berkongsi pengalaman dan pengetahuan mengenai Taktik, Teknik dan Prosedur (TTP) serta mempelajari keupayaan masing-masing di antara kedua-dua angkatan tentera. Latihan di peringkat taktikal ini juga diharapkan dapat memberikan sumbangan signifikan ke arah hubungan baik Negara Brunei Darussalam dan Republik Indonesia khususnya di peringkat operasi dan strategik, di samping meningkatkan peluang interaksi dan semangat setiakawan.
