VIETNAM, Sunday, 06 November 2022 - The Opening Ceremony of the 30th ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) 2022 took place today at the Military Training Center 4, Hanoi, Vietnam.
Present at the opening ceremony was Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Deputy Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF).
The ceremony started with a march-past parade from all the participating ASEAN countries' contingent followed by the officiating by Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Ghia, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, and the handing over of flag to the heads of contingent of the participating countries. Also to enliven the ceremony were performances on the field presented by the host country.
After the opening ceremony of the 30th AARM, the Deputy Commander of RBLF together with the Deputy Commanders of the other ASEAN member states had the opportunity to participate in a Novelty Shoot followed by a tree-planting session.
Before departing the tournament area, the Deputy Commander of RBLF had the opportunity for meet and greet with the RBLF Shooting Contingent where he conveyed words of encouragement and reminded the whole contingent to maintain their discipline as well as to display a high level of professionalism throughout the competition.

PEMBUKAAN AARM KE
30 DI REPUBLIK SOSIALIS VIETNAM

Ahad, 06 November 2022 - Upacara Pembukaan ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) ke-30 tahun 2022 telah diadakan pada hari ini bertempat di
Military Training Centre 4, Hanoi, Vietnam.
Hadir di upacara berkenaan ialah Kolonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Timbalan Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei.
Upacara tersebut dimulakan dengan perbarisan berjalan lalu daripada semua kontinjen Negara-negara ASEAN dan seterusnya upacara pembukan rasmi oleh Leftenan Jeneral Nguyen Van Ghia, Timbalan Ketua Staf Vietnam People Army dan penyerahan bendera kepada ketua- ketua kontinjen Negara-negara yang menyertai AARM ke 30. Turut memeriahkan upacara tersebut adalah beberapa persembahan padang daripada penganjur kejohanan.
Setelah perasmian upacara pembukaan AARM ke-30 tersebut, Timbalan Pemerintah TDDB bersama Timbalan Pemerintah Negara-negara ASEAN yang lain berkesempatan mengikuti Novelty Shoot diikuti sesi dengan penanaman pokok kenangan.
