RBLF PARTICIPATES IN ROYAL BIRTHDAY CYCLING RECREATION 2023
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Sunday, 13 August 2023 - His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam today consented to led the Royal Birthday Cycling Recreation 2023 with other members of the Royal Family that took place at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien in the capital to mark the monarch’s 77th birthday celebration. The event route covered a distance of 10.30 kilometer, passing several main roads along Bandar Seri Begawan.
74 ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES OFFICERS PROMOTED
BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 11 August 2023 - With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, a total of 74 officers of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces have been promoted in a ceremony that took place today at the Officers’ Mess, Berakas Garrison. Of the 74 newly promoted officers, 41 officers are from the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF).
CLOSING CEREMONY OF THE BASIC INFANTRY COURSE SERIES 1/2023
LUMUT CAMP, Friday, 11 August 2023 – The School of Infantry, Royal Brunei Land Force (SOI RBLF) held a Closing Ceremony for the Basic Infantry Course Series 1/2023 today at the Parade Square of Third Battalion (3Bn) RBLF, Lumut Camp. A total of 209 participants has successfully completed the course which conducted from 22 May 2023 until 11 August 2023.
ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT
LUMUT CAMP, Friday, 11 August 2023 – Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (3Bn RBLF) organised the final match of 2023 Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Football Tournament today at the Mini Stadium, Lumut Camp. This tournament took place from 4 August 2023 until 11 August 2023 which was participated by four teams from the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) Combined Team, Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), Royal Brunei Navy and Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF).
THE DEPUTY COMMANDER ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE MEETING SESSION WITH COURSE PARTICIPANTS OF BASIC INFANTRY COURSE SERIES 1/2023
LUMUT CAMP, Thursday, 10 August 2023 – Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Deputy Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) paid a meeting session with the course participants of Basic Infantry Course Series 1/2023 which was held at the Cookhouse of Third Battalion RBLF, Lumut Camp. The course was attended by the RBLF male recruits of Intake 170 which took place from 22 May 2023 to 11 August 2023.
COMMANDER OF RBLF WORKING VISIT TO BOLKIAH WORKSHOP, COMBAT SERVICE SUPPORT RBLF
BOLKIAH GARRISON, Wednesday 9 August 2023 – Brigadier General Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Commander of Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) has made a working visit to Bolkiah Workshop, Land Engineering, Combat Service Support (LE CSS) RBLF. Also present during the visit were Commandant of CSS RBLF, senior officers and officers of RBLF Headquarters.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Wednesday, 9 August 2023 – The Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) held President Mess Committee (PMC) Handover Ceremony today for Berakas Garrison, RBLF Headquarters (RBLF HQ) and Headquarters Company RBLF (HQ Coy RBLF), Medical and Health Services and Dental Services RBLF at the Warrant Officers’, Staff Sergeants and Sergeants’ Mess, Berakas Garrison.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Tuesday, 8 August 2023 – Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) continued to conduct a Finance Management Briefing for the personnel of Royal Brunei Land Force Headquarters (RBLF HQ) and RBLF Company HQ (RBLF Coy HQ) that took place today at the Dewan Pahlawan, Berakas Garrison. The briefing was delivered by Hajah Khaziah Azura binti Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Rahman and Dayang Riana Pertiwi binti Abu Bakar, BIBD Financial Officers.

ROYAL GUARDS REGIMENT ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE OFFICIATES REGIMENT DRILL COMPETITION 2023
SUNGAI AKAR CAMP, Monday, 7 August 2023 – The Royal Guards Regiment, Royal Brunei Land Force (RGdR RBLF) commenced the opening ceremony of Regiment Drill Competition for the year 2023 today at the Parade Square, Sungai Akar Camp. The Regiment Drill Competition will be held for five days starting from 14 August 2023 until 18 August 2023 and were divided into three categories that consists of Section Drill, Platoon Drill and Guards of Honour Drill.

PENANJONG GARRISON, Monday, 7 August 2023 – A promotion ceremony for Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) and NCOs School of Infantry Royal Brunei Land Force (SOI RBLF) personnel took place today at two separate venues. The promotion ceremony for the SNCOs was held at the Warrant Officers’, Staff Sergeants’ and Sergeants’ Mess Penanjong Garrison whereas for the NCOs was held at the SOI RBLF Headquarters.
