BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 28th August 2025 – The Musabaqah Tilawah Al-Quran in conjunction with the Royal Brunei Land Forces' (RBLF) 63rd anniversary was held at the Dewan Pahlawan, Berakas Garrison today. Present as the Guest of Honour was Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, the Commander of RBLF, and were joined by the RBLF Senior Officers, Officers and personnel.
The ceremony commenced with the recital of Surah Al-Fatihah and proceeded with the recitation of Al-Quran from 10 participants. This was followed by prize presentation by the Guest of Honour to winners and mementos to the judges. This year's Qari champion has been won by Private Mohammad Danial Hazwan bin Mohd Azmi from the Royal Guard Regiment, followed by Staff Sergeant Mohammad Ali Hussin bin Zakaria from the RBLF Headquarters in the second place, and Private Muhammad Nur Izz Iman bin Sabtu from the Third Battalion in the third place. For the Qariah category, the first place was awarded to Major Nurulaini binti Haji Md Zain from the School of Infantry, Private Siti Khadijah binti Haji Abdullah from the Dental Services came in second, and Lance Corporal Nurul Khairah binti Md Sahari from the Medical Services won third place. The ceremony concluded with a group photo session and the recitation of closing Doa.
MAJLIS MUSABAQAH TILAWAH AL-QURAN SEMPENA HARI ULANG TAHUN TDDB KE-63
BERAKAS GARISON, Khamis, 28 Ogos 2025 – Majlis Musabaqah Tilawah Al-Quran sempena Hari Ulang Tahun Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) ke-63 telah diadakan bertempat di Dewan Pahlawan, Berakas Garison. Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat majlis ialah Brigedier Jeneral Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Pemerintah TDDB, dan turut dihadiri oleh Pegawai-pegawai Kanan, Pegawai-pegawai serta anggota TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan diikuti dengan bacaan ayat-ayat Al-Quran oleh seramai 10 peserta. Majlis kemudiannya disusuli dengan penyampaian hadiah oleh Tetamu Kehormat kepada pemenang dan juga cenderahati kepada para hakim. Johan Qari pada tahun ini telah dimenangi oleh Soldadu Mohammad Danial Hazwan bin Mohd Azmi dari Rejimen Pengawal Diraja, diikuti oleh Staf Sarjan Mohammad Ali Hussin bin Zakaria dari Markas TDDB di tempat kedua, dan Soldadu Muhammad Nur Izz Iman bin Sabtu dari Batalion Ketiga di tempat ketiga. Bagi kategori Qariah, tempat pertama dianugerahkan kepada Mejar Nurulaini binti Haji Md Zain dari Sekolah Infantri, Soldadu Siti Khadijah binti Haji Abdullah dari Khidmat Pergigian mendapat tempat kedua, dan Lans Koperal Nurul Khairah binti Md Sahari dari Khidmat Perubatan dan Kesihatan memenangi tempat ketiga. Majlis diakhiri dengan sesi bergambar ramai dan bacaan Doa Penutup.
