BERAKAS GARRISON, Monday, 10th February 2025 – Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Acting Commander Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) today received an introductory call from Air Vice Marshall Razaq Kolawole Shittu, the Nigerian Defence Adviser accredited to Brunei Darussalam, held at the RBLF Headquarters, Berakas Garrison.
During the call, the Acting RBLF Commander congratulated Air Vice Marshall Razaq Kolawole Shittu on his appointment as the new Defence Adviser accredited to Brunei Darussalam. Both sides also reaffirmed the friendly defence relations between the two countries and hopes to explore more opportunities and interactions in the future. Air Vice Marshal Razaq Kolawole Shittu is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and has been appointed as the Defence Adviser of Nigeria accredited to Brunei Darussalam on 27 April 2024.
KUNJUNGAN PENGENALAN DARIPADA PENASIHAT PERTAHANAN NIGERIA YANG DIAKREDITASI KE NEGARA BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
BERAKAS GARISON, Isnin, 10 Februari 2025 – Kolonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Pemangku Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) hari ini menerima kunjungan pengenalan daripada Air Vice Marshall Razaq Kolawole Shittu, Penasihat Pertahanan Nigeria yang diakreditasi ke Negara Brunei Darussalam, bertempat di Markas TDDB, Berakas Garison.
Semasa kunjungan tersebut, Pemangku Pemerintah TDDB mengucapkan tahniah kepada Air Vice Marshall Razaq Kolawole Shittu atas perlantikan beliau sebagai Penasihat Pertahanan Nigeria yang diakreditasikan ke Negara Brunei Darussalam. Kedua-dua pihak juga mengesahkan hubungan pertahanan yang mesra di antara kedua-dua buah negara dan berharap dapat meneroka lebih banyak peluang dan interaksi di masa akan datang. Air Vice Marshall Razaq Kolawole Shittu menetap di Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia dan telah dilantik sebagai Penasihat Pertahanan Nigeria yang diakreditasi ke Negara Brunei Darussalam pada 27 April 2024.
