THIRD BATALLION ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE PROVIDES TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE TO COVID-19 PATIENTS AT KAMPONG SUKANG


BELAIT, Tuesday, 21 September 2021 – Task Group Bravo 4, Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (3Bn RBLF) were deployed and provided transportation assistance to patients who were tested positive for COVID-19 at Kampong Sukang, Kuala Belait. The patients were then brought to the Covid Holding Area Mah'ad (CHAM), Tutong for isolation and further treatments. 

Task Group Bravo 4, 3Bn RBLF moved to the location by utilising military vehicles from 3Bn RBLF which included busses and 4 Tonners. Before deployment, the frontliners involved were briefed on the SOPs and procedures for handling patients in accordance with the protocols that have been set by the Ministry of Health. 

Upon arrival at Bukit Puan, Mukim Labi, the patients were then transferred to the Emergency Medical Ambulance Services (EMAS) Ambulances to transfer the patients straight to CHAM. 

The assistance highlights RBLF's role in working closely with other units under the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) as well as other governmental and non-governmental agencies in efforts to combat the pandemic as part of the whole of Nation Approach.


BATALION KETIGA TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI BERIKAN BANTUAN PENGANGKUTAN KEPADA PESAKIT-PESAKIT COVID-19 DI KAMPONG SUKANG

KAMPONG SUKANG, Selasa, 21 September 2021 - Task Group Bravo 4, Batalion Ketiga Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (3Bn TDDB) telah diaturgerak bagi memberikan bantuan pengangkutan kepada pesakit yang telah didapati positif COVID-19 di Kampong Sukang, Kuala Belait. Kesemua pesakit kemudian dibawa ke Covid Holding Area Mah'ad (CHAM), Tutong untuk pengasingan dan rawatan lanjut.

Task Group Bravo 4, 3Bn TDDB bergerak menuju ke lokasi dengan menggunakan kenderaan tentera seperti bus dan 4 Tonners. Sebelum bertolak, petugas barisan hadapan yang terlibat telah diberikan penerangan mengenai SOP dan tatacara menangani pesakit mengikut protokol yang telah ditetapkan oleh Kementerian Kesihatan.

Sejurus tiba di Simpang Bukit Puan, Mukim Labi, pesakit-pesakit seterusnya dipindah ke Ambulans pihak Emergency Medical Ambulance Services (EMAS) untuk dibawa ke CHAM.

Bantuan tersebut merupakan peranan TDDB dalam bekerjasama dengan unit-unit lain di bawah Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) serta badan-badan kerajaan dan bukan kerajaan lain dalam usaha menangani wabak melalui Pendekatan Senegara.
