BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 30th July 2026 – The Dental Services, Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) held the closing ceremony for the Radiation Safety Awareness Course 03/2026 at the Dental Services Headquarters, Berakas Garrison. A total of 14 personnel, including civilian staff, had completed the course from 29th to 30th July 2026. The closing ceremony was officiated by Lieutenant Colonel Dr Hajah Norinda binti Haji Tengah, Deputy Chief Dental Services (Clinical), RBLF.
The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, continued with a course review by the course conductor, and concluded with the presentation of certificates to all course participants by the Deputy Chief Dental Services. Throughout the course, participants were equipped with fundamental knowledge and practical skills in radiation safety, risk management, and the safe operation of radiation-emitting equipment to further strengthen the competency of every General Radiation Worker (GRW) in carrying out their duties safely and effectively. The course was conducted in accordance with the mandatory requirements of the Safety, Health and Environment National Authority (SHENA), which requires all General Radiation Workers (GRWs) to undergo radiation safety training at least once every three years.
KURSUS RADIATION SAFETY AWARENESS BERAKHIR
BERAKAS GARISON, Khamis, 30 Julai 2026 – Khidmat Pergigian, Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah mengadakan majlis penutup bagi Kursus Radiation Safety Awareness Siri 03/2026 bertempat di Markas Khidmat Pergigian, Berakas Garison. Seramai 14 anggota termasuk kakitangan awam telah berjaya menamatkan kursus tersebut dari 29 hingga 30 Julai 2026. Majlis penutup telah disempurnakan oleh Leftenan Kolonel Doktor Hajah Norinda binti Haji Tengah, Timbalan Ketua Khidmat Pergigian (Klinikal), TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan diteruskan dengan ulasan kursus daripada Pegawai Pengendali Kursus, diikuti dengan penyampaian sijil kepada para peserta kursus oleh Timbalan Ketua Khidmat Pergigian. Sepanjang kursus, para peserta telah didedahkan kepada pengetahuan dan kemahiran asas berkaitan keselamatan radiasi, pengurusan risiko serta prosedur pengendalian peralatan radiasi secara selamat bagi memperkukuhkan kompetensi setiap General Radiation Worker (GRW) dalam melaksanakan tugas dengan selamat dan berkesan. Kursus ini dilaksanakan selaras dengan keperluan mandatori yang ditetapkan oleh Safety, Health and Environment National Authority (SHENA), yang mewajibkan semua General Radiation Workers (GRWs) menghadiri latihan keselamatan radiasi sekurang-kurangnya sekali dalam tempoh tiga tahun.
