LAND FORCE SERGEANT MAJOR​

First Warrant Officer Kifley bin Haji Johari was born on 20 November 1977. On 11 August 1995, he joined the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) and had undergone Basic Military Training at the Training Institute RBAF. Later, he joined the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) on 11 March 1996. On 01 September 2020, he was promoted to the rank of Warrant Officer One and was appointed as Land Force Sergeant Major on 02 September 2022. 

During his service, he has held several important positions at Second Battalion RBLF such as Senior Command Post Operator and Mortar Fire Controller at the Mortar Platoon, Company Quartermaster Sergeant, Company Sergeant Major, Drill Sergeant Major in 2018 and Regiment Sergeant Major in 2020. During his service, he was among those selected to join the Malaysian Contigent - 6 (MALCON - 6) Peacekeeping Mission for the United Nations Interim Force (UNIFIL) Lebanon in 2010. He is an exemplary person who carries out his responsibilities with full dedication and is well respected among RBLF personnel. 

Among the courses he has attended, he was awarded overall Best Student award in Basic Radio Operator in 2002 and Elementary English Course in 2005. 

​First Warrant Officer Kifley has been awarded the General Service Medal (GSM) in 1997, Armed Forces Golden Jubilee RBAF in 2011, Pingat Jasa Kebaktian (P.J.K) in 2012, Armed Forces Diamond Jubilee in 2021 and Pingat Indah Kerja Baik (P.I.K.B) in 2022. ​

In his spare time, he enjoys running and is an avid mountain biker. He is married to Idehwati bte Hj Musa and is blessed with three sons and three daughters.​​​
