TUTONG, Tuesday, 23rd July 2024 – The Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), together with the citizens and residents of Tutong District, greeted His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam for a Get-Together in conjunction with His Majesty's 78th Birthday celebrations held at the Tutong Community Hall Complex, Tutong District.
Upon His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's arrival at the Royal Dais, the celebration began with the singing of the National Anthem, "Allah Peliharakan Sultan", followed by a Special Performance with the theme 'Raja Berdaulat Kesayangan Rakyat' involving more than 300 performers. His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and members of the Royal Family then consented to tour the tents for a meet and greet session with members of the High-level Working Committees, the Special Performance Committees, citizens and residents of the Tutong District including senior citizens, associations and private companies, and representatives from the RBLF.
The arrival of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and the Royal Family at the RBLF tent were greeted by Lieutenant Colonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, Acting Field Commander RBLF, Major Awang Muhammad Muneer bin Haji Mohammad Taib, Acting Commanding Officer of the Second Battalion RBLF and Major Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Commanding Officer of School of Infantry RBLF. Also present were officers and personnel of the respective RBLF units.
The Get-Together event is an annual tradition where His Majesty gets the opportunity to meet his people up-close and it is a chance for the masses to have a memorable experience with His Majesty. This has indeed underscored the importance of mutual trust between the king and the people, and pledged their loyalty to the king.

TUTONG, Selasa, 23 Julai 2024 – Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) bersama rakyat serta penduduk Daerah Tutong telah menjunjung keberangkatan Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam bagi Majlis Ramah Mesra sempena dengan Sambutan Ulang Tahun Keputeraan Baginda ke-78 di Kompleks Dewan Kemasyarakatan, Daerah Tutong.
Sejurus keberangkatan Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam di Pentas Diraja, sambutan tersebut dimulakan dengan nyanyian Lagu Kebangsaan “Allah Peliharakan Sultan" dan diikuti dengan Persembahan Khas yang bertemakan 'Raja Berdaulat Kesayangan Rakyat' yang melibatkan lebih 300 peserta. Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam dan ahli-ahli Kerabat Diraja seterusnya dijunjung berangkat melawat ke khemah-khemah bagi Majlis Ramah Mesra bersama Ahli-ahli Jawatankuasa Tadbir Tertinggi dan Jawatankuasa Peserta-peserta Persembahan Khas serta rakyat dan penduduk Daerah Tutong termasuk persatuan-persatuan dan syarikat-syarikat swasta, dan wakil-wakil daripada TDDB.
Menjunjung Keberangkatan Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia dan Kerabat Diraja di khemah TDDB ialah Leftenan Kolonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, Pemangku Pemerintah Medan TDDB, Mejar Awang Muhammad Muneer bin Haji Mohammad Taib, Pemangku Pegawai Pemerintah Batalion Kedua TDDB dan Mejar Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Pegawai Pemerintah Sekolah Infantri TDDB. Turut hadir ialah Pegawai-pegawai dan anggota-anggota unit TDDB berkenaan.
Majlis Ramah Mesra merupakan tradisi tahunan yang mana Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam berpeluang untuk bertemu rakyat dan penduduk secara lebih dekat dan orang ramai juga berpeluang untuk mendapatkan pengalaman yang tidak dapat dilupakan bersama dengan Baginda. Ini setentunya menekankan kepentingan untuk saling mempercayai di antara Raja dan rakyat serta memupuk taat setia kepada Raja.
