PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 24 August 2023 – The Closing Ceremony for the Watchkeeper Course 2/2023 was held today at the Cookhouse of Support Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF).
A total of 41 course participants, which consisted of 19 personnel from RBLF, five personnel from Royal Brunei Navy, five personnel from Royal Brunei Air Force, three personnel from Joint Force Headquarters, four personnel from the Ministry of Defence, one personnel from Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), two personnel from Training Institute RBAF and two personnel from the Special Forces Regiment have successfully completed the course which was held from 07 August 2023 to 25 August 2023.
Present as the Guest of Honor was Major Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Commanding Officer of the School of Infantry RBLF. Also presents were the Heads of the Department, invited Officers and course instructors. The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Surah Yunus verses one to six by Warrant Officer Two Mohammad Musa bin Haji Mohammad Kassim.
The ceremony continued with an opening speech from Warrant Officer Two Muhammad Rizan bin Moksin, head instructor of the Watchkeeper Course, followed by the presentation of certificates by the Guest of Honor. The event continued with a closing speech from the Guest of Honor followed by the official closing of the course. The ceremony concluded with the recitation of Doa Selamat and a group photo session.
The course aims to enhance the capacity as an officer on duty to record news according to the correct procedure during operation, in addition to give aspiration and confidence to all course participants in planning and succeeding the assigned operation.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS WATCHKEEPER SIRI 2/2023
PENANJONG GARISON, Khamis, 24 Ogos 2023 – Majlis Penuntup Kursus Watchkeeper Siri 2/2023 telah berlangsung di Rumah Masak Batalion Bantu Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB).
Seramai 41 peserta kursus yang terdiri daripada 19 anggota TDDB, lima anggota Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei, lima anggota Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei, tiga anggota Markas Angkatan Bersama, empat anggota Kementerian Pertahanan, seorang anggota Akademi Pertahan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB), dua anggota Institut Latihan ABDB dan dua anggota daripada Rejimen Pasukan Khas telah berjaya menamatkan kursus tersebut yang telah berlangsung dari 07 Ogos 2023 hingga 25 Ogos 2023.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Mejar Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Pegawai Pemerintah Sekolah Infantri, TDDB. Turut hadir ialah Ketua-Ketua Cawangan, para jemputan, dan Jurulatih-jurulatih kursus. Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan Surah Yunus ayat satu hingga enam oleh Pegawai Waran Dua Mohammad Musa bin Haji Mohammad Kassim.
Majlis diteruskan dengan ucapan daripada Jurulatih Pengendali Kursus iaitu Pegawai Waran Dua Muhammad Rizan bin Moksin dan diikuti dengan penyampaian sijil disampaikan oleh Tetamu Kehormat. Acara diteruskan dengan ucapan dari Tetamu Kehormat dan penutupan kursus secara rasmi. Majlis diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa Selamat dan sesi bergambar ramai.
Kursus ini bertujuan untuk mempertingkatkan kemampuan sebagai pegawai bertugas mencatat berita mengikut prosedur yang betul semasa operasi, disamping itu memberikan aspirasi serta keyakinan kepada semua peserta kursus dalam merancang dan menjayakan setiap operasi yang diamanahkan.
