BANGAR, Thursday, 9th October 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) hosted a high tea session at Bangar Camp, Temburong, as part of the official visit by His Excellency Gilberto C. Teodoro Jr, Secretary of National Defence, Republic of the Philippines, to Brunei Darussalam. In attendance to welcome His Excellency Gilberto C. Teodoro Jr, was Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Deputy Commander of the RBLF, and was joined by Brigadier General (U) Haji Haszahaidi bin Haji Ahmad Daud, Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), along with senior officers from the RBLF.
The visit commenced with a tree-planting event to commemorate his presence at Bangar Camp, followed by a photo session and signing of parchment. The delegation then proceeded to the Officers’ Mess for a high tea, where His Excellency received mementos presented by the Deputy Commander of the RBLF. The visit concluded with an aerial tour across the Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Bridge as part of the itinerary. His Excellency Gilberto C. Teodoro Jr will be in Brunei Darussalam from 9th to 10th October 2025.
LAWATAN SETIAUSAHA PERTAHANAN REPUBLIK FILIPINA
PERKHEMAHAN BANGAR, Khamis, 9 Oktober 2025 – Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah menghoskan sesi minum petang bertempat di Perkhemahan Bangar, Temburong, sebagai sebahagian daripada program lawatan rasmi Tuan Yang Terutama Gilberto C. Teodoro Jr, Setiausaha Pertahanan Republik Filipina, ke Negara Brunei Darussalam. Hadir bagi mengalu-alukan Tuan Yang Terutama Gilberto C. Teodoro Jr ialah Kolonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Timbalan Pemerintah TDDB dan telah disertai oleh Brigedier Jeneral (U) Haji Haszahaidi bin Haji Ahmad Daud, Pemerintah Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB), bersama Pegawai-pegawai kanan TDDB.
Lawatan dimulakan dengan acara penanaman pokok sempena memperingati kunjungan beliau ke Perkhemahan Bangar, diikuti dengan sesi bergambar dan menandatangani lembaran kenangan. Rombongan kemudiannya beredar ke Mes Pegawai bagi sesi minum petang, di mana Tuan Yang Terutama menerima cenderahati yang disampaikan oleh Timbalan Pemerintah TDDB. Lawatan diakhiri dengan merentasi Jambatan Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien melalui udara sebagai sebahagian daripada program kunjungan. Tuan Yang Terutama Gilberto C. Teodoro Jr berada di Negara Brunei Darussalam bermula 9 hingga 10 Oktober 2025.
