BOLKIAH GARRISON, Wednesday, 06 April 2022 – The Vaccination Center at MRS Bolkiah opened its doors to children aged five to 11 years old starting today as part of the Children Vaccination Program. The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Vaccination Center has been entrusted by the Ministry of Health as one of seven locations nationwide to conduct the vaccination program for children which commenced on Wednesday, 6 April 2022.
The COVID-19 vaccination drive is voluntary and the services offered at MRS Bolkiah Vaccination Centre is made available to family members from the Ministry of Defence and RBAF personnel including Gurkha Reserve Unit. Throughout the program, the children were accompanied by their parents or guardians following the booking of slots through their units.
The vaccination program serves as the governments’ effort in curbing the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in Brunei Darussalam. With this program, the RBAF Vaccination Center will continue to support the country’s aspirations in controlling the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and achieve the desired control rates by the Ministry of Health.
PROGRAM VAKSINASI BAGI KANAK-KANAK DI PUSAT VAKSINASI ANGKATAN BERSENJATA DIRAJA BRUNEI
BOLKIAH GARISON, Rabu, 06 April 2022 – Pusat Vaksinasi MRS Bolkiah mulai hari ini telah membukakan ruang kepada kanak-kanak yang berumur lima hingga 11 tahun bagi Program Vaksinasi Kebangsaan bagi kanak-kanak. Pusat Vaksinasi Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) telah diamanahkan oleh Kementerian Kesihatan sebagai salah satu dari tujuh lokasi di seluruh negara bagi mengendalikan program vaksinasi bagi kanak-kanak yang mana telah bermula pada 6 April 2022.
Program tersebut adalah dibukakan secara sukarela dan perkhidmatan pemberian suntikan vaksin COVID-19 di Pusat Vaksinasi MRS Bolkiah ditawarkan kepada ahli keluarga warga Kementerian Pertahanan dan ABDB termasuk ahli keluarga Pasukan Simpanan Gurkha. Disepanjang program berkenaan, kanak-kanak tersebut telah ditemani oleh ibu bapa atau penjaga di mana penempahan slot untuk vaksinasi adalah ditempah melalui unit masing-masing.
Program vaksinasi tersebut merupakan usaha kerajaan dalam mempertingkatkan, melindungi serta mengekang penularan wabak COVID-19 di Negara Brunei Darussalam. Dengan program yang dijalankan ini, Pusat Vaksinasi ABDB akan terus menyokong hasrat negara dalam mengawal penularan wabak COVID-19 dan mencapai kadar kawalan yang dihasratkan.
