BOLKIAH GARISSON, Monday, 08 November 2021 – The Vaccination Center at MRS Bolkiah opened its doors to students and adolescents aged 12 to 17 years old starting today as part of the Adolescents Vaccination Program. A total of 23 primary schools from the Brunei-Muara district have been allocated to MRS Bolkiah for students within the age group to receive their vaccinations. Meanwhile, the children of Royal Brunei Armed Forces personnel also received their vaccines in the afternoon.
The vaccine used for the adolescent program is Pfizer-BioNTech. The program was jointly organised by teachers and officers from the Ministry of Education.
The vaccination program serves as the governments’ effort in curbing the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in Brunei Darussalam. With this program, the RBAF Vaccination Center will continue to support the country’s aspirations in controlling the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and achieve the desired control rates by the Ministry of Health.
PROGRAM VAKSINASI KEBANGSAAN BAGI BELIA DI PUSAT VAKSINASI MRS BOLKIAH
BOLKIAH GARISON, Isnin, 08 November 2021 – Pusat Vaksinasi MRS Bolkiah mulai hari ini telah membukakan peluang kepada pelajar dan belia yang berumur 12 hingga 17 tahun bagi Program Vaksinasi Kebangsaan bagi Belia. Sebanyak 23 buah sekolah dari daerah Brunei-Muara telah diperuntukkan untuk menerima vaksin di Pusat Vaksinasi MRS Bolkiah bagi pelajar-pelajar yang layak untuk menerima suntikan tersebut. Manakala, anak-anak anggota dari Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei juga diberikan peluang untuk menerima suntikan di Pusat Vaksinasi tersebut pada sebelah petang.
Vaksin yang digunakan untuk program ini ialah Pfizer-BioNTech dan merupakan program gabungan bersama di antara Kementerian Kesihatan dan Kementerian Pendidikan.
Program vaksinasi tersebut merupakan usaha kerajaan dalam mempertingkatkan, melindungi serta mengekang penularan wabak COVID-19 di Negara Brunei Darussalam. Dengan program yang dijalankan ini, Pusat Vaksinasi ABDB akan terus menyokong hasrat negara dalam mengawal penularan wabak COVID-19 dan mencapai kadar kawalan yang dihasratkan.
