PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 18 June 2021 – ‘B’ Company of the Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (3Bn RBLF) together with ‘B’ Company of the Second Battalion Royal Gurkha Rifles (2RGR) carried out an exercise called Bersatu Bravo held at the FIBUA Village, Penanjong Garrison. The five-day exercise which took placed from 14 June 2021 to 18 June 2021 which consisted of four days of training sessions and concluded with the last attack on the last day of the exercise.
The exercise concept showcased both units’ capabilities in handling uncertain global security threats. ‘B’ Company 3Bn RBLF personnel also had the opportunity to train at night by using Night Vision Goggles (NVGs) led by the Officers from 2RGR. Amongst those who participated in the exercise were the Special Forces Regiment (SFR), Special Operations Squad (SOS) from the Royal Brunei Police Force and Royal Brunei Air Force.
The purpose of this exercise serves to further strengthen the bond and enhance the military skills from both units in performing urban operations while simultaneously to gain new knowledge, improve the quality of work and level of professionalism of all the units involved.
BATALION KETIGA TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI LAKSANAKAN EKSESAIS BERSATU BRAVO
PENANJONG GARISON, Jumaat, 18 Jun 2021 – Kompeni ‘B’, Batalion Ketiga Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (3Bn TDDB) dan Kompeni ‘B’ Second Battalion Royal Gurkha Rifles (2RGR) telah melaksanakan Eksesais Bersatu Bravo di Perkampungan FIBUA, Penanjong Garison. Eksais selama lima hari itu dilaksanakan dari 14 Jun 2021 hingga 18 Jun 2021 yang merangkumi empat hari sesi latihan dan di akhiri dengan serangan akhir pada hari terakhir eksesais tersebut.
Konsep eksesais ini menjurus kepada keupayaan kedua-dua unit dalam menangani ancaman dalam situasi keselamatan global yang tidak menentu. Kompeni B 3Bn TDDB berkesempatan membuat latihan malam menggunakan Night Vision Goggles (NVGs) dibawah kendalian pegawai-pegawai 2RGR. Turut mengambil bahagian dalam eksais tersebut adalah Rejimen Pasukan Khas, Pasukan Gerak Khas Pasukan Polis Diraja Brunei dan Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei.
Eksais ini bertujuan untuk mengeratkan lagi hubungan kerjasama dan meningkatkan kemahiran anggota tentera terhadap kedua-dua unit dalam melaksanakan Operasi Dalam Kawasan Terbina (OBUA) dan pada masa yang sama menimba pengalaman baharu dalam meningkatkan dan memperkasakan lagi mutu kerja dan tahap profesionalisme kepada anggota unit-unit yang terlibat.
