TEMBURONG, Friday, 1st March 2024 – A total of 47 officers and personnel of the Royal Brunei Land Force participated in the cleaning campaigns at mosques, suraus and prayer hall in the Temburong District which was organised by Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF). This cleaning campaigns have successfully conducted at 13 mosques, suraus, prayer halls and da’wah post spanned across the Temburong district in support of the Executive Committee on Cleanliness Issues (JIIK) initiative, in keeping Brunei Darussalam clean and free from pollution. In attendance was Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II, Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Commander of RBAF, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence along with respective Services Commanders, Temburong District Officer, Local Village Leaders, officers and personnel from MINDEF and RBAF.
The cleanliness drive was carried out at a total of eight mosques and two suraus, in Temburong District. RBLF responsible for overseeing the campaign at Masjid Kampung Selangan led by Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Deputy Commander RBLF and Surau Al-Quwwah, Bangar Camp with special emphasis at Mohammad Salleh Utama Mosque Pekan Bangar.
This initiative aims to foster stronger bonds between MINDEF and RBAF with the local community, while simultaneously promoting environmental cleanliness in accordance with Islamic principles, especially with the upcoming holy month of Ramadhan.

TEMBURONG, Juma’at, 1 Mac 2024 – Seramai 47 pegawai dan anggota Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah menyertai Kempen Kebersihan yang dianjurkan oleh Kementerian Pertahanan (KEMENTAH) dan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) yang melibatkan 13 Masjid, Surau, Balai Ibadat dan Pos Da’wah di Daerah Temburong bagi menyokong inisiatif Jawatankuasa Induk Isu-Isu Kebersihan (JIIK) dalam memastikan Negara Brunei Darussalam bersih dan bebas daripada pencemaran.
Turut hadir ialah Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Mejar Jeneral (Bersara) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri dan Menteri Pertahanan II, Pemerintah Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei, Setiausaha Tetap Kementerian Pertahanan, Pemerintah-Pemerintah Angkatan Tentera, Pegawai Daerah dan Ketua-Ketua Kampung Daerah Temburong, Pegawai dan kakitangan KEMENTAH dan ABDB.
Kempen Kebersihan ini melibatkan lapan masjid dan dua surau di Daerah Temburong. TDDB memikul tanggungjawab untuk kempen kebersihan di Masjid Kampung Selangan diketuai oleh Kolonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Timbalan TDDB dan Surau Al-Quwwah, Perkhemahan Bangar dengan tumpuan utama ialah di Masjid Utama Mohammad Salleh Pekan Bangar.
